Great first day :


Walked to DHS: rode RR
Room was ready at BC- corner room with and extended balcony - semi fireworks view
Talked to Teena
Walked through Epcot and took the monorail to MK. Rode HM and Dumbo
Walked through the World Showcase.
Dinner was at Crew Cup lounge
Went I the hot tub at SAB
Watched fireworks from our balcony

Can't wait for tomorrow

What a fantastic start!!! For those of you counting, that's 3 parks on arrival day!

Nate just asked me what's wrong with summer.

"It's broken this year" I told him.

A grey morning with some rain/storms on the way, but I don't think nearly as bad as yesterday.

Long term forecast for 5 days of 90 plus degrees. That should get us ready for Florida!

But I'm grateful we don't have the hundred-twenty plus the west is experiencing.

Can anyone who is currently at the BC/YC tell me if they have a Bounce back offer in their welcome packet or their room? It has been inserted into the Be Our Guest book lately. Is it the room only discount for 2013 dates?

Just a quick update since I am in line for R&R Roller Coaster at HS (110 min wait) .
Got to the BC and our room was ready can I tell you sooo happy. We got an amazing room fourth floor corner room we have two Juliette balconies
One view of the courtyard and one looking straight at the pool slide at SAB . Hubby was so impressed. I didn't let him know we got a deluxe room so it was a nice surprise.
More pixie dust when they brought fresh flowers and soda and water for our fridge.
I had to explain to the kids not to get use to this but to enjoy every second.
Best part of all I met Teena and she is as sweet and as nice as everyone has said.
So we may see you all at the Dessert party Teena may have talked us into it.
That's all for now will keep updating as we go along.

Thanks for the welcome! That's fantastic to hear, 2014 must be a great year for the resort as the villas are also supposed to be refurbished sometime next year too! Can't wait to get back to the resort, there is something very special about it. I walked around Crescent Lake while I was down a couple weeks ago, and wow, did I forget how much I liked the place! I think I needed that reminder to see Stormalong Bay again!

We usually take our stuff to Bell Services and then take Disney transportation to our morning park or breakfast. Then head to the next resort when we're done.

It's supposed to cool down here today, maybe! I do believe we hit 90 the past 2 days, and that's what I say, we are climatizing for Florida . Stay safe, those storms sound scary!!

Checked in at 10:45. Got a text about a half hour ago that the room was ready but they texted me the wrong room! No problem. Got the right room now. Think I will be able to see fireworks from our balcony . The skies just opened up. Still no prob. Going to head to MK to see about a castle

COFFEE alert : it seems they are in the midst of the elusive Joffreys switch. In my room the reg coffee is Joffreys and the decaf is still cuisinart .

Going to see of I can go find Teena and say hello

It is supposed to thunder here from 4ish-7ish, and the weather forecasters don't *think* it'll be anything like yesterday, but we'll see.

That's a good way to put it. I can't really explain why, but we've had heat and humidity for weeks now, yet it hasn't felt much like summer.

This probably isn't much help, but I was at YC in April, and yes, in the welcome packet there was a 2013 room-only BB offer.

I then hit DHS at rope drop , grabbed a fast pass for TSM and then rode standby . Got a DIY me espresso from the Writers Stop and walked o we to RR and rode in the single rider line with no wait. Looked at a few stores and used my fast pass at TSM . Grabbed another for later today I'd I. Booze to return. Walking back to BC as a type trying not to trip over myself
Thinking SAb for a couple hours.
Ahhh.... His is the life

Buzzy has not been seen but it has been rather over set with drizzle and periods of rain so I think Buzzy is keeping his wings dry -

I'd love to know too! Being able to book our Oct trip this year with the bounce back from my May trip was such a great deal! I love saving 35%!!!! I think bounce back is the way to go for us now, and then wait to see if any AP rates come out closer to beat it. I can't wait to see next bounce back!

This is why I really appreciate all the hard work Dee does on the FAQ 1st page because it allowed me to see the current bounce back rates & dates so I could ask off this past April for my Oct trip! Thanks Dee!

We are on our way back to BC for my actual 40th bday! I told my DH that I would be at BC for my actual bday even of it meant I'd be there by myself if I had to be. . He finally gave in...

How crowded has SAB been? How early would we have to be there to get a chair or two? Are people coming and going throughout the morning/afternoon?

Yes, 2013 dates only. The last dates available in the book for this year are 12/15-12/19. Nothing for 2014 in my room
