No.... I can totally relate!!! My DH has a company car therefore free gas... Which is wonderful if my 3 kids weren't so bad in the car. And it is small. Lol I am still trying to figure out how to fly. Lol the cheapest I can come up with is $1500 for out family of 5. I check everyday. )

When I was a kid my parents used Duct Tape and Benadryl for those long car rides. Since they were always falling asleep and couldn't reach far us kids wound up doing most of the driving.

Just a thought.....

Hello YC/BC people! I've been trying to wade through the first few pages of important posts to get ready for our first "real" stay at YC next month (we stayed for 2 nights in 2011 without park tickets, so it doesn't count ). We have some new posters who were brave enough to join the "Be our guest" list and we have 37 chickens who still have some sense and are lurking so as not to have their reputations tarnished by associating with us "Riff Raff!"

Couchy is monitoring the chair hogging situation at Storm Along Bay (It's High chair hogging season don't you know!) She has successfully deployed the "find-an-unattended-chair-with-just-a-towel-on-it-and-then-relocate-it-to-a-new-spot-and-use-it" strategy. There was no loss of life nor limb and she has turned a lovely cinnamon brown color despite the clouds and rain.

Catho72 is desperately looking for cheap airfare for her upcoming vacation and she is seriously considering shipping the family and it's belongings to WDW via Fed Ex express to save a buck or two. All this angst is so her Margarita and Sangria trust fund will have some extra dollars in it. Her family will also not be roaming the pool area 'nekked' as everyone has found a suitable swim suit (which will be left at home no doubt, necessitating yet another crisis).

Dee is all set to go to the resort. Now that they have real Coffee available she will end her boycott of the resort and be seen wearing a hat around the parks that looks like this:

And finally, Buzzy's plan to rule the world is coming to fruition. His mind control techniques are proving successful as he has managed to insert himself in peoples dreams with the hope that one day, one of his minions will sneak over to the Boardwalk and bop the clown slide on the nose. My bet is that Ocalla breaks down first and does the dirty deed.

Heading to the airport now......I'll put the camo gear on in the airplane bathroom, sneak into the quickest moving ME bus line, and grab a Boardwalk bakery item to snack on while making my way to the clown ! That BIG red nose is Mine!!!!!!

Thanks for the update! I was looking at the lines app this morning ( preparing for next week!) and I noticed the short waits at MK and wondered if they were accurate. Glad to hear they were and I'm hoping for low crowds next week too!

I was wondering the same thing- I am Disney withdrawal mode and still watching the Lines app at times. I was kinda envious a bit because the waits were shorter than the when we went on June 8 even though are rating the overall all resort crowd level at 10 and the different parks at 9. When we were there the ratings were 7 & 8 and the waits longer.

So makes me wonder about the accuracy of the crowd level predictors because the July weeks, especially around the 4th were to be 10. Maybe everybody took their advice and picked different weeks!

Yeah ... He said it was too much $$$$ . I offered Shulas but he chose le cellier for the beer cheese soup and pretzel bread. Would have done the Epcot Segway tour but they aren't doing them

Another fun thing to do is the JetSki Tour... I did it last year with DD was a lot of fun. It's offered at Sammy Duvall's the marina at the Contemporary.

Natebenma, thank you! I've forgotten how to mutltiquote in one reply, and I got too much sun today to able to think tonight. That's what happens when the sun doesn't come out for a week. We'll be there from Aug. 3 to 9, so I guess I can be added to the be our guest list and not be a lurking chicken anymore!

Oh my! I run out to the store to buy DD9 some duct tape, and look what I come back to! Johnny Depp by the pool, and by the way, I think 50 is a perfect age!

Not kidding about the duct tape. She wanted it to make gym mats for some dolls. I think "Plan A" was to use it for backpacks, but so far I've seen mini gym mats and no backpacks.

By the way, I saw little waterproof phone/stuff holders at the AAA office on Saturday when picking up my car, the one that has to drive us to YC, from an emergency fan module operation. I didn't get the holder there because I have the Visa coupon for a free WP locker day or a waterproof thingie to hold stuff. I'm leaning toward the thingie since it can be used more than once and the locker rental can't. Really not a WP expert, and not used to not having DH around to leave stuff with, so all the tips help!

So I have a question for all my BC lovers...we haves stayed at BC last 3 trips and are completely obsessed. Our next trip in August 2014 will be myself, DH. DD8, DD6, DS4, DD18mos.
My only problem is that since SAB is so large, DH will mostly be near the big slide, while I'm in the zero entry area with the little one. I feel like we can't even enjoy pool time together.
We were considering trying Poly for next trip, but now hearing about the construction not sure if I want to do that.
Do you guys think we would regret our choice by being all over the place at the pool? Or would we regret it more staying somewhere else?

All of the live reports and gorgeous pictures are getting me so excited for our trip! We're 45 days out and it was all paid a couple of weeks ago.

I am currently at the new bar at hurricane Hannah's . Did you know they have an exclusive bar menu. I just had the ahi tuna for lunch. They also have pork sliders. FYI: you can not get these things at the regular CS hurricane Hannah's . There is an exclusive bar menu !

How was the Ahi tuna? I was looking at that menu, pork sliders sound pretty good too! I can see its going to take several trips sp good thing I'll be there 12 nights
