Whew! It's been so busy for 'ol Ninja Mom. She reads this thread just about every day but she can't seem to find the time to post.... until today.

I have big news... against DH wishes I went ahead and booked that deal for August 17-23 at THE BEACH CLUB! It was Magical!

A room only booking saved us 45% they also can save you about 10% off on tickets but we haven't decided how many days we are going to be where, like Universal or perhaps Cape Canaveral where DH will attempt to send me into orbit if I go to WDW one more time.

DH NEVER wants to go ANYWHERE so his reluctance, strike that ~refusal~ was no big deal. We do however have to go on Vacations and I prefer to Travel when we do, so tough nouggies on DH!

I figure if I pay $110 bucks a month the room will be paid for by the time August rolls around. I tried telling DH to think of it so much as we wouldn't be at WDW so much as we would be in a really Great, One of a kind hotel in Orlando and we can Do other stuff like Potted Harry and explore Orlando as a city. I also promised him if he Didn't whine too Exuberantly I would take him Alligator wrestling after I increased his Life insurance policy.

You can calculate how much you would be saving by checking out the room rates at that site where they have all the ears. Our dates fell so that at full price we would have been paying Sun=$375 Mon-Thurs = $350 and then that last Friday night it was $375 ($2150 Full 'wrack' rate). We got the deal at $1188.00. Note this is room only. Be sure to shop around AND drink your Ovaltine. That decoder ring may come in handy when reading posts.

Just booked last night, woohoo!! We got the discount for August also, we are going to Universal first for 3 nights starting August 17th then we move to Yacht Club from August 20-28th!! A lot of firsts for us this trip! Never been to Universal, and never stayed deluxe!! We are sooooo excited!

Hi! So, DH's birthday is on a Sat in January. He has been having a very stressful year at work & was wishing for a DW birthday. Well, you know we have those APs til May...... What's a good wife to do???

I am crossing my fingers I get the same room area I did last year. We were able to see the fireworks from our balcony - loved it!!

PS if you still can't figure out my last post try Googling some of the more relevant bold faces I put in that post.

Also shop around and see if your favorite Travel provider can match or beat those prices. I was talking to a "little Bird" who said that the way they got those low prices was to book blocks of rooms at a convention rate. Of course that is just speculation as we have not talked to anyone who knows how it was done, but that's the way it usually happens.

Think of it as a convention of BC/YC FANS!!!

I also have to say that I am pleased with the assistance and communication I received when working out the dirty details with said mystery agency. 45% off is the best deal that I have ever seen in the last few years.

My hubby and I stayed at BCV for the first time in July for our anniversary and thought we weren't going to be able to go back to Disney until after I graduate nursing school in May 2015. Thanks to that incredible deal, we will be at Beach Club Aug 24-30! I'm so excited for the kids to play in Stormalong Bay and to see the movie on the beach and all the fun stuff on the Boardwalk! I'm super nervous about all the FP+ and MB stuff but my best friend and her family are leaving in two weeks so hopefully she will have a great time and put my mind at ease

Thank you for the info on the deal! Any concern they are not legit? I remember this deal from last year and haven't seen any bad feedback, but without being able to name names, I just may not have found them. Call me paranoid.

Yes I got a Disney confirmation # and a little bird tell me these reservations ARE showing up in the Disney computer system.

I also am the wary type and since this is the second go around for this deal There is a track record. I am not aware of anyone having problems with the last time this was offered and I was actively looking for that kind of feedback as those dates and reservations unfolded last August.

That being said there are no guarantees, but I am as satisfied as I can be that this is on the up and up.

I am booked at YC Lagoon View for March and am considering switching to BC. Is it worth it to pay extra for LV at BC even though we may not get a full balcony? Or should we pay $55 less per night for a Garden View room?
