Wow! It IS really quiet here! Dee, thanks for the pictures of SAB. I'm sitting here enjoying a really late breakfast of steel cut oats with brown sugar, almonds and craisins a la BC CL lounge. Plus we are watching Lilo and Stitch on Disney Channel. And since I haven't opened my blinds yet, I can't see the 8 inches of snow that covers my backyard! I'll just pretend I'm at BC!

You and me both the 4 inches of snow was all i needed to see this year, fyi im down in Joliet so i know the feeling.

I always do the white wine tasting at Epcot in Germany. It's about $9, and you get 3 2-oz pours. I love it. You can also do wine by the glass in all countries and the "Wine Walk," which buys you 2, 2-oz pours in Germany, Italy and France. I think that runs around $20.

And as for this anyone care to explain where I can do the Wine Walk i.e. where i can 1 get the glass and pay for it and how that works i am up for sampling the different wines of the world

I know I AM!!!

I'm EXHAUSTED from that last trip with you and Buzzy. The sinus infection isn't helping either.... Thank Goddess all the Christmas decorations are up so I don't have to worry about THAT!

As it turns out I was missed during my absence! My strategy of NOT stocking the house with healthy snacks that would go uneaten in my absence paid off as everyone here had a rocking case of scurvy and ricketts when I finally returned. I went food shopping and hurled grapes and pineapples at them until their normal color returned and they stopped creaking.

I am super busy right now but I do want to dish on how slovenly Buzzy is. We have pictures, some taken when he was sober but most were taken when he was, shall we say... under the influence... He has hired a lawyer and put out multiple restraining orders and injunctions, but MY attorneys tell me that with his lengthy arrest record the judge will look upon it as a public service if I post the pictures and warn people.

The first thing that people should know is that Buzzy is a natural born pool hopper, which WE all know is AGAINST THE RULES (so don't you do it!!) Even though he wasn't staying at the Boardwalk, he dragged us over to the Clown slide and tried to dare us to slide down it. That fact that we were fully dressed was of no consequence to old Buzzy and the only thing that saved us was when the Resort Manager spotted him and ESCORTED him all the way off the property and CHASED him ALL THE WAY around the Boardwalk/BC/YC loop until he got over on the Swalphin property and she had no jurisdiction. She had her track shoes on so she must have been on "Buzzy the Fly duty" if you know what I mean.

Here is a surreptitious photo that was snapped shortly before the hot pursuit of Buzzy began. If you look closely you can see the look of fear in his compound eyes as he spots his Boardwalk nemesis "Nancy the manager" as she raises a lounge chair and begins to hurl it in his direction.

Lol! Ahhh Buzzy Good Times Good Times!! Nancy the manager really needs a reality check... stalking and hiding behind trees I'm pretty sure isn't in the manager manual!! That is one that will be talked about for years to come I'm sure!

It's always good to know the fam misses us when we are off in the warm warm weather having a good time while they are home shoveling
I know I for one was not a happy Disney camper when I got off the plane in flip flops and it was cold and windy!!! I didn't make it to work the next day.. needed a day to do nothing!

Looking forward to more pics of Buzzy's escapades!! Looking back we probably should have asked Nancy to pose with Buzzy

We just got ours today for our March 19th trip to the Beach Club. We didn't really need it since we already have MagicBands from our trip the first week of December at the WL, but it was fun to get it anyway. I can't believe how personalized the booklet is. Besides our name on the fcover and the reservation information on the inside cover, it shows my name in the picture of the MDE page. It also mentions the Beach Club and already knows that we have customized our MB's already. The magnet includes reminder dates for our fp+ and online check in dates. It is very impressive.

I just got one for our May trip too!!! It's funny I'm doing a split stay between BCV and AKV. BCV is our first resort and the incredible package I got was for our second resort AKV.

It isn't the MagicBands it is a welcome package which contains a booklet and a flash drive. When you plug the flash drive into your computer it connects to the MDE website and plays an informational cartoon about the MyMagic+ plus system.

We will be celebrating my 40th and my sons 8th birthday during our visit Dec 30th-Jan4th. Super jazzed. Thank you so much for all the advice originally scheduled our trip CSR and decided to pay the extra to be closer to the action.

So far this is only a test and only setup to go out to guests with reservations in the first quarter of 2014. Though they may extend it. With all the changes recently, they are trying to get the information to the masses that aren't on the DIS.

Will I pay my balance at check-IN or will I be charged at check-OUT? If it's at IN, I'm considering just paying with cash and the couple hundred bucks I have on a Disney reward card.

Just be aware that if you do online check-in, they have been charging the balance on the credit card provided during online check-in. They charge it really early on the day you check in, most likely before you arrive. Many a guest has been surprised with this upon checking in and wanting to pay balance with a Gift Card or other form of payment.

Thanks. It's really not a big deal, just makes for less sticker shock when I get home if that larger balance isn't on my card plus all our OOP eating and miscellaneous spending
