Hi all, just wanted to pop in and say that we are coming back to the BC in May for 3 nights. We are doing a split stay where we will be at BC from 5/23-5/26 and then we will move over to VWL from 5/26-6/1. We are all so excited that we are finally coming back to our favorite resort on property....we just love everything about BC and the whole Epcot area .

President's Week! 1. Much less crowded than Easter and 2. I arrive on the 20th for Princess Half Marathon! 3. Then we could do drinks at SAB!

All those drinks I bought for you gals must not have been enough to buy your silence. Perhaps I should have chipped in for a couple of those Dooney and Bourke bags you ladies are so fond of....

The next time, and we all know there is bound to be a next time with you two Disney-a-holics, I shall remember to bring my FlyPhone and document the towel hoarding and pillow piling that was perpetrated under your watch.

Hi all - thanks so much for all the good info on these resorts. My DH and I went to WDW for our first time this past September and stayed in CBR. We are in our "early 50's" and had a great time (and no complaints about CBR). However, based on our experience of Friendship boats and watching the fireworks from the bridge after our dinner at Kouzzina, my DH said "why didn't we stay here"? Ummm - price?

Next trip isn't until November 2015 and hoping that RO discounts will come out for that time period. I don't think it will matter if they don't since DH is totally enthralled with the idea of walking into Epcot each night for dinner at a different country.

Thanks again for the room/resort tips. I've only been lurking for the past 25 pages but it helps to keep the excitement going for a trip that is still so far away.

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list for August. You don't have to declare a major at this point. Let us know when/if you decide on which resort. IMHO, you can't go wrong either way.

Hello all!
Just wanted to stop in and give a quick report on our quickie-trip to The World, complete with a stay at the YC from Dec 4-8.

Thanks for the review of your trip.

Sounds like you had a nice time, even though there was a lot of waiting.

I'll add your information for August. Are the days at GF before or after your YC stay?

Beds and pillows were perfect. I may order 4 of the pillows for my bed at home. I took a picture of the tag on the pillow and was able to locate it online.

Would you mind emailing me a copy of the tag picture and info about the pillows? We do get questions about the bedding on occasion and I think the info I have is pretty out-of-date.

Well since we are into the map thing I thought a helpful demographic on just exactly what we were doing on this last trip might be 'helpful' to our devoted readership.... all 3 of them....

Now keep in mind this is just one park and we were hopping the whole trip.... literally and figuratively.

Of course no trip to the ladies room would be complete with out our roving friend Buzzy the Fly, who cannot resist a good dump, even if it's not his.

And continuing along on the map theme.

The uncensored Beach & Yacht Club map was BRILLIANT, but there were a couple of omissions:


"The elevator that doesn't go all the way to the top"

As some of you may know, there is a fake elevator in the lobby of the Beach Club (the Yacht too, I think). There is an elevator door, but if you go around the corner to peek at what is behind it, you will see a phone bank.





And I was really hoping that the location to the secret Beach Club Fantasy Closet would finally be revealed, but I guess I will just have to keep looking.

"Long-timers" on this thread will recall that there is a supposedly a hidden retreat where one can hide from their family and continue their vacation indefinitely. All of your necessary comforts are met at the Slushie and Refreshment Center- Oreo Bon Bons, anyone? You will notice unlimited daybeds, but, surprisingly, only one bathroom!

I had heard about the secret closet but had never seen the room layout. Brilliant!

The Presidential Suite is huge and will give you much more room than the regular club level lounge.

One gets kind of, 'creative', in cases of extreme urgency... and despite having to make a swim for it, we were devastated to find a long line at this location, just like all the other ladies rooms on property.
