So sorry to hear about the loss of your Aunt. I hope you have a safe drive to Tenn.
I am so sad to hear that your grandprincess is still having so much trouble with her foot. Please keep us updated on her surgeries and she will be in my prayers.
Glad to hear things are going well on the TA front. I did get your PM but have not had a chance to send a proper response. I guess you will be putting your TA skills to use on Monday morning for your Be Our Guest ADR. I can't wait to hear all about your experience at this new restaurant.

How hard can it be to function with only 2 hours of sleep? LOL!
After church yesterday, we drove to Franklin, TN for my aunt's viewing. There was no way we could stay for the funeral. We left there around 9:30 and drove around for 30 minutes looking for a Zaxby's! It is the only thing Mr D wanted for dinner...and since he had been so good, we had to find one for him!
Then...we had to stop two exits up from there to get gas....and after we left the gas station, Mr D announced that he needed to use the restroom... thirty minutes later...we FINALLY found something open for him!
Back on the road, there wasn't much traffic, so we made vry good time. Got home about 2:45 this morning. Had to get back up at 5 to get Miss B up to catch the bus...and now I am sitting here...knowing that if I lay down I will actually go to SLEEP.
Somehow, in all that I managed to get about 2 hours of sleep.
Now, I have to wait up until 7 so I can make the Be Our Guest reservations. Hopefully those won't take all morning...because I would like to get a very short nap in before the Grand Princess has her next surgery at 10.
Of course, after the surgery, Princess Alyssa will be coming to my house for the remainder of the day (more than likely. The only thing that will stop that is if she has a bad time at the surgery center. Friday she had a bad reaction to the anesthesia)
I will be in bed by 8 pm tonight! That is guaranteed. The only unknown is ...how much earlier than 8 will I be in bed?

Don't know about you, but I don't do well on limited sleep.
Excited that you're trying for Be Our Guest. I can't wait to try it, too. (No trips currently planned for me however.)
Don't know what Zaxby's is, but I'm guessing a fast food restaurant? or a Cracker Barrel type restaurant?

Things have been crazy around here. I think after almost a week I am finally caught up on my sleep. (if you can ever really catch up on your sleep!)
I managed to get two things done in the studio...one was a birthday shirt for a little one year old, the other was a simple monogram on a back pack. I have less than 90 days, and over 80 shirts to do. I really need to get busy!
On the TA front, I got some packages in from Disney. I got 5 pins (one for completing each of the 5 sections of the Disney training) and a cute presentation frame (even if it is made of cardboard) The funny thing about the pins. I have a whole page of instructions devoted to the fact that I can't wear them to the parks! Evidently they don't want them traded! LOL!
I was also able to snag a limited edition poster...my husband is most proud of that! He is going to get me a poster frame so I can put it up in my 'office'.
It was just the shot I needed to have a great day yesterday. I have been feeling a bit down this week (some info I learned from a cousin about a different family member) and I have been trying to determine how much I was going to let it bother me. After a ton of research, and putting a few things of prevention in place, I have decided I am not going to give them the power over me any longer...I am letting it go.
(sorry to be so cryptic, but the more I say about it the worse it can become)
Last night was the first birthday party for my little friend. I made him a cute Mickey Mouse shirt with a big number 1 and his name... I mean how could I not...his party theme was Mickey!
At that party I met another parent from the school Mr D used to attend. After some casual conversation I discovered that Mr D is quite the conversation piece at that school! The whole locking him in the closet thing was pretty common knowledge. They are also aware that we have until he turns 18 to decided to sue. They have been getting their stories straight for the past YEAR!
Hubby thinks we need to talk to the attorney again in January and revisit our decision not to sue. We will see.
I hope everyone was able to get their reservations for Be Our Guest. The reservation system has had more than its fair share of issues since it opened up. Rumors are flying around faster than they were for the question of when it was actually opening!
If you weren't able to get yours yet, hold on. I am sure there will be some cancellations coming soon. I read too many reports of people getting multiple reservations (not being able to find the ONE they wanted) with the intention of cancelling the ones they don't want. Although...that whole 'forgot to ask for cred card info' thingy might make some of them NOT cancel!
So now, I am working on the cruise certifications for other lines than Disney. This is a bit harder than the Disney training. MOST of the Disney training was stuff I already knew... but these other cruise lines are a little strange. Each line seems to concentrate their training on something different...like memorizing the tonnage on each ship in their fleet! Seriously? I am supposed to recommend a ship based on knowing what tonnage they want?
Anyway, I can safely say the training is very educational and a ton of fun!
(I also discovered that if I take a Disney cruise the day after Thanksgiving I can save a ton of money...)

I still think you need to PM me so I know which travel agency you went with. I am still researching it (which means = I haven't done a thing about it) - but it is something I would like to do.
Do you have to pay for your training?
I hope you are able to get things resolved on the personal home front - I've been thinking a lot about you and your family, and pray that everything works out the way it should. Many hugs!

It would be a GREAT place for her birthday! My 35 year old only likes to go during that time because it is his birthday! LOL!
Crowds are low, Christmas decorations are every where, and the weather is semi good... even if it is unpredictable! LOL!

Wow! Only 12 weeks until we go to Disney!
I'm afraid to make a list of things that we need to do...I KNOW I will get overwhelmed! (I'm going to pretend that ignorance is bliss...but I am pretty sure I still have around 86 shirts to do and less than 85 days... and more customs than I care to count!)
I did make the decision to back out of the next Main Street Boutiques Launch. I am too much of a perfectionist to actually sell something that isn't perfect. With all the extra stress I am putting on myself, I know I could not get the dresses done in time...besides, I have yet to be able to get the dresses worked out in my mind. I had serious issues with the fabric selection (in other words I could find NOTHING that inspired me to even consider it!)
I was trying to come up with a 'less' expensive option, but every thing I could come up with was running the supply list up way too much.
On the good news front, I did find several ideas to make for my grown kids for Christmas...so that is a plus. Of course, I need to find the TIME to actually do this...
The planning for the trip is still on track. The only major thing I have to do is to try and get a better time for Be Our Guest for us, and maybe a better day for my DS and DIL.
I will redo our spreadsheets during the coming week, hopefully Disney won't change their hours again, but I know they will! At least with the spreadsheet it only means a quick adjustment and then hit print (or send in the case of my son's list).
I had wanted to make a cute picture book like D and Chiara did, but I don't see that happening. Instead I will do my standard index cards...with all the important info for the park of the day on front (with ADR info) and the times for all the parks on the back...in case we decide to hop to another park.
I did manage to get a new camera. It is only a point and shoot (much to my DIL's dismay!) We are still in the getting acquainted stage. I gave my old camera to Mr D...surprising how much he loves it! You can't zoom in anymore, and so much of the functionality just isn't there any more (dropped once or twice too many times!) But he has managed to take some pretty awesome pictures with it. If he weren't so rough on cameras (yes, I know he is not the one that dropped mine...but he really is rougher than I am!) I would love to get him a good camera. I have been told by lots of photographer friends that he has a really good eye when it comes to photography. In fact, the photographer that did my daughter's wedding used one of his photos in the album he made for my daughter. And another one from that day is my daughter's favorite picture!
And...of course, if you get a new camera and Mr D gets your old one, you HAVE to get Miss B a new camera! My DIL was selling her point and shoot that she bought and then decided she really wanted a DSLR. So I made a deal with Miss B. If she paid for a third of it I would pay the rest. So, now Miss B has a new camera! (I wish I could have gotten that good of a deal...a $300 dollar camera for only $25!!)
I am still on the hunt for Sam's gift cards to pay for my Disney trip. I am afraid that the Christmas promotion won't be coming out until after my PIF date of October 9. I would love to have the extra $400 for Christmas gifts, but if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. I thought about the Kroger plan, but the special right now (4 fuel points) but it has to be used within 60 days...and we aren't going until 84 days! And, before D~ says anything...I don't have a Target card!
The training for the Travel Agency thing is going pretty good. So far I am really excited and can't wait to get my feet wet! I am working on a FaceBook page for that part of my life, but haven't published it yet as I am trying to get the content just right...and I am having an issue with the logo I am using, and need to wait for my 'boss' to look at it!
And the final update is my Grand Princess!
She is now seeing a home health nurse (although I do not have a lot of confidence in this person's honesty and integrity) that the Princess seems to like. The surgeon is only seeing her once a week now...in her OFFICE no more going into surgery! They took some bone scans yesterday and everything is looking good.
And....they spoke with an attorney yesterday. It seems the insurance company has decided to not pay for part of the procedures for the Princess. It is really kind of crazy...on one dy they will pay for the anesthesiologist and not the surgeon, and another day they will pay for the surgeon and not the OR! Every other surgery they completely reject, and every other one they only partly pay for. There is almost a $100,000 debt owed right now that the insurance company will not pay for. And...it has already been sent to collections! (I realize it has been almost 6 months since this started...but they are still getting service on the original problem, so care is ongoing. It seems to me you would wait until all care has ended before you send to collections...yu are more likely to get your money that way!)
They were originally going to go for age discrimination, since they would approve all this if she were older (evidently loosing your foot at age 4 is not so bad, but at age 13 it is!). But the attorney said it is better to go in a different direction, but they are pretty sure they have a solid case.
She is happy, healthy and full of energy! Just as a 5 year old should be! Yup, that's right she had her birthday on Saturday. She spent the night on Friday with me and then we went shopping on Saturday morning and then took her home to her 'surprise' birthday party...of course, she already knew it was happening....my kiddoes can't keep a secret!

My son sent me a video of her actually walking yesterday! As in no boot, just her and her foot! It is the first time she has put her foot on the ground since sometime in early March!
I can not begin to tell you how much I cried when I saw it! She is running too...but she gets tired really easy, so she can't go very long. She told her dad she needed to get used to walking for Disney...only 80 days away now. They are getting a stroller too, but I have been trying to get her to walk for Disney. I felt she needed something to look forward to. I doubt she will do a ton of walking there, but knowing she can will make her feel less like a baby.
I would LOVE to be your cheerleader!
I really hate that I am backing out...again, but I refuse to sell something less than my best!

I am finally working on my Grand Princess' dress for Akershus. I managed to get it all cut out. Now I just need to get the appliques done so I can get on to the actual sewing of the dress!

Has anyone ever used Evernote for their Disney planning?
I have been hearing a lot of good things about it, so I have downloaded it to the computer and my Android phone... so far it seems like a neat way to keep everything updated...I also have downloaded My Disney Experience to my phone...and now I am waiting for the battery to charge so I can see if it is going to be fun to play with!
Yup... that's right...I am board...and am looking for something Disney to do. Yes, I am aware that I am seriously behind on getting the shirts ready for our trip...but I am really wanting to do something...MORE!~

My Disney Experience is the official Disney smart phone app. The previous one is being done away with (since it was only available for Verizon users). Eventually it will be used for the RFID systems they are putting in with the Fast Pass + and will contain your dining ADRs. It really looks cool. Has all the parts of all the million other apps, but because it is owned and operated by Disney, it is SUPPOSED to be better. (time will tell on that one!)
It is still in beta testing, and all the functionality is not yet working, but I can tell it is going to be cool! (and yes, I am a geek like that and enjoy the little things like this in the park! LOL!)
Evernote is another free app for smart phones and computers...sort of like the Office add on called One Note, but it is also sync-able to the phones. I love One Note, (used it at work a lot) but do not have it on my home computer and phone... so now I do!
Right now I am putting all my 'stuff' in it per day in the parks and will have it to look at in the parks. I am getting excited about putting all the info in...
I am slowly bringing the TA face book page live. The link is currently on the disboutique page in FB. Within the next week it will be 100% live and running...of course, I still have to make some money... LOL!
The Grand Princess had another good doctor's visit yesterday. Last week there were still 3 wounds (from the last drainage tubes) while yesterday there was only the one main wound unhealed. They have been trying to prevent it from closing on top so they could keep the yuck from forming down deep inside. They have now made the decision to let the skin heal and hope for the best. It is one of those decisions that would have eventually have to be made, it was just hard to make it.
When the surgeon and her office staff saw her walking without the boot, they all cried! It has been so long in coming! She still wears the boot, but she now has to take the boot off and walk for a few minutes each day, adding a few minutes each day.
I am now at 57 shirts...hope to knock a few more out this morning... migraines got in the way yesterday!
