2012 Black Friday Ad Links Posted

I wonder if Target would price adjust something bought earlier in the week, since their ad will be good for 3 days... looks like I won't be able to go shopping until the weekend and don't think I want anything bad enough to deal with sending dh!

Asked my daughter who is a Target employee and she said that they DO NOT price adjust Black Friday deals.

Looking at the Best Buy ad, it says they will hand out tickets two hours before their midnight opening. Tickets for what? To get in, for the merchandise? Thanks for any help.

I don't know 100% but I'd say the "hot stuff" big screen Tv's, Computers, who knows what else. It's bb way of calming the craziness.

They will usually have a set number for certain hot items for example they may only have 20 of ps3s, so they hand out 20 tickets for that and then you enter and collect your item with your ticket.

Am I the only one disapointed in the Black Friday Sales that are posted... It just doesnt seem like anything is worth it this year... must just be not stuff I am looking for but I am just not seeing it this year... guess I get to sleep in this year and just check out American Grils Black Friday Sale Online

I feel the same way! My mom is insistent that we go BF shopping so I'll go with her but I would rather sit in my PJs and look online, or save my money for Disney shortly after!

Very very disappointed. I'll go out because we like to, but I won't be doing any "major" shopping. I would like the patio heater at Lowes - I think that's my must find, and the TV I wanted at Walmart - I will watch Amazon for, but that's not a must have, otherwise I'll wander the mall first thing and be home by noon.

I don't know if this answers your question but according Walmart's facebook page :

Walmart - If you have an any item on Layaway and would like to receive the reduced price during our Black Friday sale the item(s) would need to be deleted from the Layaway account and added back to receive the event price (or price matched whichever is lower). Keep in mind layaway will be closed until 9am on Friday (11/23). Event prices for items sold during our first two sales events at 8pm 11/22 and 10pm 11/22 are only available while supplies last so they may be sold out when the Layaway desk reopens.

Alright, I am really confused and I am sure someone can help me. On the Target online BF ad it states you can start shopping on Thursday online. How does that work? Are the deals you see on the ad availalbe on Thursday online? I do have a red card (not registered online) if that helps.

Also, does Walmart do the same thing on Thursday? I have to cook, but I can shop at the same time...who needs Turkey
