2012 Black Friday Ad Links Posted

Here is what I saw posted:
Individual stores may choose to open at non-standard times due to local regulations or other reasons. You may want to verify opening times for your local stores before heading out shopping.

Sears and Kmart stores in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine and Puerto Rico will not be open on Thanksgiving Day, per their respective state laws. Stores in Maine, Rhode Island and Massachusetts will open at 12:30 am on Nov. 23. Puerto Rico stores will open at midnight on Nov. 23. In addition, stores in some jurisdictions may have different hours of operation if required by local law.

Some Old Navy outlet stores will open at 10:00 pm, Thursday, Nov. 22 for the Black Friday sale and the New Super Mario Bros. U giveaway.

Gordmans North Dakota stores open Sundays at noon.

Walmart's Thursday 8 pm and 10 pm sales will take place at 12:01 am Friday in Maine and at 1:00 am Friday in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Here is link to site that has all store openings listed: http://forums.bfads.net/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=24016

I hope that helps!

I have been cking the new ads each day as they come out and so far they just don't seem as good to me so far this year. My sister and my friend and I are trying to coordinate our lists but so far we've got very little for them.

What do all of you think?

Does anyone know if the BAB snowpeople will be available for purchase online?

I just read on another board that Target cardholders (credit & debit) will be able to purchase Black Friday deals on Wednesday Nov.21. I think you have to have your card registered with My RedCard to see the deals.

yep there is an advertisement when you log into manage your credit card account saying that if you log in nov. 21 you will see some special deals. I assume it is the same for the debit card, I don't have one.

Thank you for posting. I just updated first page with new Target link. I guess I can hit Sears at 8 and then be at Target by 9. Of course I need to check the ad to see if there is anything I want. ;)

Has anyone seen the Sephora ad yet? I know it sounds random but I found some of my best gifts there last year. My JCP put one in two years ago, so I have easy access. They have a small table of items all marked for $10. I got bare mineral items that retail $40 and tons of girly family members, I was in and out in five minutes. :cheer2:

I agree. Maybe it is because we're just not looking for a lot this year (though I am in the market for a tablet and a compact digital camera) but so far I haven't seen any major must-haves. Between that and the fact that I refuse to shop on Thanksgiving at all it just doesn't look like I'll be doing much BF shopping this year.

Toys R Us is up and it looks WEAK to me. I'm in the market for a Wii or Xbox Kinect and a little girls bike and one Lalaloopsy in particular. The Wii can be purchased for significantly less at Walmart. Not too impressed with the bikes on sale and was hoping for a % off all Lalaloopsy, not the 2 pack. Just waiting on Gamestop now.....

This year because of our Disney trip for the kids, they know that there will be less under the tree. The kids are fine with this. I'm hoping to stretch my dollars with some great sales. I keep checking to see if Hollister has put their ad out so I have a better game plan. The last 2 years, I have made out like a bandit. Long lines, but so worth it. Has anyone heard any rumors?

I totally agree. I'm looking for a Xbox as well but I wanted to get it from Toysrus since I have a 90 dollar gift card but it looks like the only place with a decent enough system is best buy. I have another week or so until BF so i'll see if another store has a good deal on one then hopefully i'll be able to price match

It's not really $99 as you have to agree to 2 years of Xbox live at $14.99 per month...depending on age of gamers, Xbox live is not necessary and can often be had for much cheaper.
