So we are thinking of making the change from a standard room to the Club Level. Anyone know what is offered there at the YC daily? Just wanting to make sure it's worth the increase in cost.

Just catching up on the thread after a busy weekend! Hello and welcome to the new posters and thanks to disneyfan and DisMomAmy for the reports!

Just had to report some very exciting news! My best friend and her family were checking in at BWI yesterday. They booked a deluxe there to accomodate their family of six. During check-in, they were upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite at BC! Teena, I told them to look for you in the lobby (and sent you a separate message about them yesterday.)

Hello YC FAN!!! Great to see you again! You may not remember, but you inspired our pirate celebration at BWI (split between BWI/cruise/BC) last August. Thanks to your advice and Robyn's, we were able to put together a very customized celebration and our boys LOVED it! Hope all is well, and happy to hear that you have another trip in the works.



Robyn, I really wish I could make it in person this year! I actually thought it might be possible, but then I received a theater scheduled our oldest son and July 22 is the big summer performance weekend. So I think my best hope is to appear in flat form with Dee again. Of course, Dee is single-handedly responsible for my flat form, so I hope she's up for sending us again!

If you have a trip report for that August pirate celebration, I would love to read it!!

Definately tank tops!! the cooler the better. Didn't need a hoodie last May, but you never know. Don't think I would pack jeans................but check the weather before you leave just in case.

We are taking all shorts/t-shirts and sundresses. I love flip flops so that is what I will be wearing. I will pack one hoodie for me as well as my dd. I guess if we don't have something....buying something would definitely be an option!

I've been looking through all of the pictures and I am getting sooooo sooo excited. I wish I could have afforded to stay CL, but hey....that will give me something to look forward to for next time!

Ok, I'm packed, the crap is all shoved in the closets (LOL) and the kids are in bed, not sleeping. Got a call from school from my DS - his throat was sore. The doctor got him in immediately since we were traveling and said his tonsils were a bit red and swollen, and gave us chewable antibiotics that we could take on the flight. He hasn't complained since! Totally screwed up my afternoon but better than being sick at Disney!

And after the horrible behaviour this morning from my kids, tonight they were angels. When I put DS to bed, he said that he and DD had talked and they decided to make this the best vacation ever for ME. Wow... I must be doing something right! Might have been that I told them if they were badly behaved on this trip, the next one would be me and DH alone!!!

Did I mention that we got 10 cm of SNOW this morning???? All melted by this afternoon but it certainly made me happy to be heading for the BC!!!

ME tags are on the luggage, everything is in the hallway, just have to close the carry ons (once special stuffed animals get put in there) and get in the cab at 4:15 am for our 6 am flight.

Thanks to everyone for helping me make my decision to choose the BC (this thread did that for me) and for sharing my anticipation with me all these long months!

OH!!! My first YC/BC FAQ Quest!!! I would be pleased to oblige!!! I'm planning on daily mini-trip reports from the (hopefully full!) balcony if the WiFi cooperates... And if you guys can stand it! I love it when other people do so I'm all over it.

I'm with you.. it seems like a lot of folks on here stay in the CL. We're blessed to just take this vacation, let alone stay ON property, AND at a deluxe resort. I'm really looking forward to hanging out on the balcony with my husband, and spending time in the awesome pool, it looks like so much fun!!

Gosh! At the rate we are paying I sure hope our Mousekeeper gives us enough shampoo and conditioner! It's never been a problem in the past...

We had the same problem with our DVC 1 bedroom. The only soap there was the hard hand soap ... no shampoo, conditioner or bath gel. Combined with the lack of dishwasher soap, it was an issue for sure since there are 4 of us. But you're right, for the price you pay, it seems you should get soap and shampoo!

So after changing hotels from CSR, to AKL, we are now booked at BC from August 9-15. I'm still doubting my choice....but think we'll stay where we're at!! It will be me, DH, DD 6, and DS almost 3 by the time we go!

Sorry about your loss. I lost my big sister this past January also.....still having a hard time dealing with it. Planning this May trip has been difficult for me (so much guilt that she's gone and I get a trip to Disney), but Disney is so comforting to me it almost feels like home.

And the BC is the best place to feel that way!!!

Don't feel bad, I always take my own. I have curly hair and have to use a certain brand. I don't even use the lotion they provide, I always take my Bath and Body Works!

So after changing hotels from CSR, to AKL, we are now booked at BC from August 9-15. I'm still doubting my choice....but think we'll stay where we're at!! It will be me, DH, DD 6, and DS almost 3 by the time we go!

A lot of the folks who hang around here have experience with many different resorts and I'm sure they would be glad to help you with any concerns or questions you have.
