Just got back on Friday night after 8 wonderful nights at BC. We were upgraded to CL!! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!


Overall we had an absolute wonderful time & I wish I was back there.

Congratulations on the upgrade, that is a fantastic bit of pixie dust.

We loved YC CL on our trip in March.

I've finally managed to post another installment in my TR for those who are interested.

Question for anyone who has been at the BC recently. I believe I read awhile back that the butterfly topiary near the BC back entrance was gone (perhaps when the siding work was done). Was that true? Did it disappear? Is it back?

Inquiring minds want to know.

It was great to finally meet Doreen & family. We live less than 30 minutes apart but we finally met in person at the BC!

@ Doreen and Amy- if you guys ever do plan a local meet, let me know. I'd love to join you and talk Disney/BC/YC all through lunch at the Olive Garden.

There were just a few issues we had. I had to ask for more shampoo & shower gel. We were just about out & I asked for some & they said they usually do not replace it until they see that we were completely empty. Really???? They did say they would give us some & I asked to have it delivered to the room as we were going to the parks. Got back & nothing. They may have forgotten the room #. They did give us more the next day.


Overall we had an absolute wonderful time & I wish I was back there.

We actually had the same issue -- no one replacing shampoo and conditioner. I just asked housekeeping for some extras when I saw them with their carts in the hallways, and walked away with a handful, so for us it was easily taken care of. But that was because we were there during the afternoon.

We had the same magical upgrade to CL. Just an incredible experience

Gosh! At the rate we are paying I sure hope our Mousekeeper gives us enough shampoo and conditioner! It's never been a problem in the past...

That is exactly what I was thinking when they told me they do not just replace them. We stayed there in 2010 & every day they replenished it. It is not like we were packing it away every day. I used my own shampoo anyway but DH & DS were using the shampoo & I used the shower gel every day.

Marketplace Oatmeal- I don't know where the original post is- but I don't think it was answered, or how soon the response was needed.

Someone wanted to know about the oatmeal available in the Marketplace- whether it is presweetened or available plain.

Feckless, or someone going in the next week, if you get a chance to check out the oatmeal situation and report back, that would be great!

I remember you - we both went to Universal - Hard Rock Hotel in 2004.

I can't wait to get out there next week to see her. We "skype" but she keeps trying to put her head into the computer screen. She's having some major teething problems -- big time diarrhea. Other than that, she's a happy baby. It will be a super trip. I'm actually spending Mother's Day with Jeanne ... it's been a long time since we were able to do that and we have an appointment that day for wedding dress shopping.

Sorry about your loss. I lost my big sister this past January also.....still having a hard time dealing with it. Planning this May trip has been difficult for me (so much guilt that she's gone and I get a trip to Disney), but Disney is so comforting to me it almost feels like home.

And the BC is the best place to feel that way!!!

We are leaving in 2 DAYS!!!!!!

So, so excited!! Especially since my dd7 came home with Straight A'S!!! That makes this trip so much more special. I am so proud of her. She was born three months preemature with sooo many health issues. This is going to be our third time here! We've done two make a wish trips. The first one was for her, the second for her brother. I am so happy to report that she has a clean bill of health for this trip!!

So much to celebrate!!!

I am almost totally packed! I will spend the day, cleaning this house from top to bottom and COOKING!!!

Since it will just be me and dd along for this trip, my best friend will be staying with my other children and I don't want her to have to do too much at all. So today I will begin cooking for the five days that I will be gone. I have to make about 20 sandwiches 2 casseroles and a nice pot of spaghetti!!! Oh what fun!

Just had to report some very exciting news! My best friend and her family were checking in at BWI yesterday. They booked a deluxe there to accomodate their family of six. During check-in, they were upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite at BC! Teena, I told them to look for you in the lobby (and sent you a separate message about them yesterday.)
