Thanks - you are absolute right, I just looked! Anyone know what is the difference between the YC Deluxe Club Level and the YC Standard Club Level rooms? the website says the Deluxe overlooks "one of 3 lagoons" and the Standard overlooks Storm along bay. That to me is very confusing!!! Cuz there's only one lagoon, which is Crescent lake, right? Oh, and I forgot to mention, the price difference is a shocking $100 per nite!!!!! That is, during Value season in August, the Std club level is about $580 and the Deluxe club level is $680! Wow!

The deluxe is a much larger room and is on one of the lower floors (1-4) while still having access to the concierge lounge. The standard club level room is the same size as all the regular rooms but is located on the fifth floor where the lounge is located. You are paying more for size, not location.

Welcome Home, Teena! A great mom is one of the most wonderful blessings and I bet Jeanne is so appreciative! So exciting that Peanut is arriving in just a few weeks!

creativeamanda, can't wait to hear about your trip and see those photos!

Robyn, so excited for you! It's too early for me to start making the "Disney piles" for August, but I love to hear about them!

Dannysmom, have a great trip!

did they change the policy on how far out you can book a villa if you are not a dvc member. I just tried to reserve a 2 bedroom villa at the beach club for may 2012 and I was told you can not hold until 6 months out.

I have stayed in the villa before not being a dvc member 2 times in the past 3 years (beach club villas, and blt) both times I booked about 10 months out. Was I just misinformed or is the 6 month out correct? :confused3

We leave early Saturday for BCV!!! If you need any info let me know. This trip both DD are bringing friends and DH will be golfing some so I'll be hanging out and might need something to do. Maybe I will be able to post while I'm there since we are DVC and have the internet, my router will be packed.

Teena - I'll look for you on Sunday on our way back in from DHS!

We are back from an AMAZING stay at the YC Regatta Club. Our room overlooked the wedding gazebo and was very close to the lounge. I cannot say enough great things about the resort and the staff. DS came down with the stomach flu our first full day there and the CL CM's were outstanding in keeping us stocked in crackers, ginger ale and bottles of Evian. (Lucky for us it was a 24 hour bug and he was fine the next day).

We are a monorail family but after our second stay on the EPCOT side of the World, I think we are converts! I never thought a resort could top the GF in our eyes, but the YC certainly did! The location cannot be beat. SAB is the best pool ever and we spent a lot of time there.

Feel free to ask me any questions you might have and I can try to answer them!

Also, I did "complete" my homework assignment!!!

BC Construction

The scaffolding was moving around quite a bit. When we left, it appeared they were on the back side of the BC (closest to EPCOT). It looks like they are replacing all the siding.

The lounge is unlocked 24 hours. But after 10 pm, only the sodas in the fridge and the jars of swedish fish, trail mix and yogurt pretzels were out.

I don't have any dinner time pics, but it was the offerings everyone has posted before. Definitely sufficient for a snack before a later dinner.

Here are a couple of room pictures (room 5150)

If you are paying money for the villa, it is my understanding you can book as far out as you want ... just like any other room at WDW.

I look forward to seeing you Sunday or Monday!

Great pictures, brings some really great thoughts and memories to mind. Glad you enjoyed your stay (minus the stomach flu issue). Now on to planning for the November 2012 stay (seems a long way off, doesn't it?).

I know! :sad1: This past trip was our 4th in 12 months. I can't even imagine waiting 17 months between trips!

We just changed our October reservation and will not be staying at the Beach Club, whomever is in charge of the October list can remove us from it. DH and I decided we wanted to return to WL this trip.

Cinderumbrella, great photos!!! We've always stayed at BC, but you're encouraging me to try YC sometime! So glad you enjoyed the Epcot resort area - I know it can be a change from the MK area, but we love it!

Speaking of photo missions, I've been in contact with IPO about some pirate-themed gifts for our boys in the room (thanks for the PM advice, Robyn!) I'm going the Robyn route on this and would love some photos of the pirate stuff at the Screen Door General Store. I know it's not BC/YC, but if someone is wandering over to the Boardwalk, I would really appreciate it!! I was just in there over Memorial Day weekend, but my memory can't compete with detailed photos! :)

First extended stay at BCV planned for September~~ 9 days!!!:cool1:
Mostly a resort vacation because all really need to relax so this thread is amazingly helpful. Thanks!!!

Thank you so much for the photos. We are not staying at the YC but I was hoping they still had the Mickey trivets and your photo shows them! I hope the BC will still have them in Dec if not then I will be heading to the YC! Thanks again Cindrumbrella

You are so welcome! :goodvibes I am just so glad that after months of questions I finally have something to contribute here!!

First chance to post since we got back from WDW & The BC a week ago - we had the opportunity to meet the popular Ms. Teena who is as wonderful in person as she is on this board. Teena, I think you made my son Ryan's day when you gave him his own Key that he could hold on to... It stayed in his lanyard for the rest of the week!! He was sure to show Dad that he had his very own key that Mom didn't need to hold!!

Now we have no trips planned to WDW for the next year... I will have to live vicariously through all of you :)
