I just found out the Sweet Sunday for 10/16 is totally sold out
And not even a celeb chef or anything. WHY did I wait so long?! It's been less than 48 hours!
I see a few people who have scheduled activities after the French Regional Lunch. DW and I did the FRL last year and ate and drank and drank and ate for 3 and a half hours, till we almost couldn't move. We went to the 3D Dessert later that evening and we were too full to eat all the yummy things there. Hope no one has that trouble.
LOL. It's amazing...it's like the left hand doesn't work with the right hand. How on earth do you run a company where the PR/Marketing/Social Media departments don't actually fact check?![]()

I did the same last year and was ok. Especially now that the party is an hour later this year (at least for the one I'm doing) I didn't get to enjoy as much alcohol as my husband but I got my money's worth.
Unfortunately, Elizabeth Faulkner (10/16) is a celebrity pastry chef. She has appeared on Food Network numerous times on shows such as Food Network Challenge and Iron Chef America.
That I would recommend. Last year my husband enjoyed his dinner at Via Napoli while I was still in my Food Coma from the lunch. (I did have an appetizer of mozzarella & tomatoes)Phew! That makes me feel better. I guess then we will not need to hit up the kiosks before the desserts.
I called right at 7 and had a 7 minute wait time. I got everything I wanted:
Signature Dinner at Wolfgang Puck's 10/12
French Regional Lunch 10/9
Japan Food and Wine Pairing 10/10
Party for the Senses 10/8
Now, to pay the credit card bill![]()

I guess that's why they can keep charging those prices.
Hi all,
I had a quick question about the PFTS wine view lounge. How early do you have to show up? Is there a special line for the lounge? I've been in nursing school the past 2 years, and so am not familiar with any new processes in place...thanks for the help!
How early? Well, technically that's up to you
I would want to be in that entry lounge area no later than 7:00 to make sure we didn't miss the early entry into the main area. You'll still have a check-in line to get through, and remember that it's always very crowded
.

UPDATE:
OK so now I called back and talked to a different CM and the Sweet Sunday on 10/16 IS available! Booked it.
What's wrong with these CMs? They need better F&W training! This one tried to book me for the 3D dessert part on 10/14 first, then tried the other chocolate event on the 16th. I told her 3 times, I want the "Sweet Sunday at 10am on the 16th!" Her response? "I've never heard of that." Then she found it, finally.

The booklet TIW sent me (arrived Tuesday afternoon, better late than never) doesn't say anything about Elizabeth Faulkner being at the Sweet Sunday on the 16th...it says Frederic Monti, Corporate Pastry Chef, PreGel America.
