**2011** Epcot Food & Wine Festival HAS ENDED. 2012 Festival 9/28 - 11/11

I am missing three events on the "My Reservations" page:
Italy Dessert & Wine pairing, The Discovery of Chocolate, and Italy Food & Beer tasting.
Everything else, including seminars & demos show up there.

It took us about 9 minutes to get through and then 45 minutes on hold. After making the reservations and then the survey, my phone said I had been on for 1:01:30 but we got everything we got!!

Saturday, October 15, 2011 Cheese Seminar
Saturday, October 15, 2011 Taste, Shake and Indulge Like the French
Sunday, October 16, 2011 Chocolate Discoveries Seminar
Thursday, October 20, 2011 Italian Dessert and Wine Pairing
Saturday, October 22, 2011 Food and Wine Pairing @ Italy
Sunday, October 23, 2011 Sweet Sunday Hosted by Martini & Rossi
Thursday, October 27, 2011 Italian Dessert and Wine Pairing
Friday, October 28, 2011 French Regional Lunch

Like others, my Italian Dessert and Wine Pairings are not showing up. I am sure they will get it fixed.

See you there :cool1:

P.S. My Chocolate Seminar is missing too.

DH is on the road this week (someone has to pay for my Disney addiction:rotfl2:). He looked at what I successfully booked at 7 a.m. and asked what are we doing on Saturday:confused3

I called WDW Fest at 6:30 p.m. and within five minutes had a confirmation number for Taste, Shake and Indulge Like the French on Oct. 22. Our flight out of MCO is at 7:10 that night ... could be interesting:rotfl:

What dates are you there? They're doing other wine dinners at FF that aren't "official" Food and Wine events. You might be able to do one of those!

Oct 6th - Domaine Serene

Oct 13th - Wines of Spain

Oct 20th - Wines of Chile

Oct 27th - Wines of Alsace- Sparr

Nov 4th - Markham Winery

These aren't open for booking yet are they? And when they are does anyone know how you would go about booking it? Thanks!

They'll be announced about a month ahead of time, and you can book directly through Flying Fish (call 407-WDW-Dine and ask to be transferred to flying fish to book -- I think that might work...)

Yikes! That's cutting it close.

"Taste, Shake and Indulge Like the French" goes from 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. It's held at the Bistro de Paris -- and it's not as if you can just hail a cab in front to the Bistro.

How are you getting to the airport? Where will your carry-on bags be? When do you want to be at the airport?

TSA lines can be awful at Orlando International Airport. I usually like to arrive there 2 hours before scheduled flight time (or 90 minutes before boarding to put it another way).

That is cutting it a bit close, but a 4:30pm cab from the Beach Club should get them to the airport in plenty of time, even with rush hour traffic.

Has anyone heard of any PFTS that are close to sold out? We want to book November 5, but I didn't think to do it this morning (it was awfully early for me here in MN).

I booked the 11/6 Discovery of Chocolate and the 11/10 Italy Dessert and Wine Pairing. Got in right at 6am my time, 15 min wait, 15 min to book those 2 events.

Add me to the list of events not showing up in 'my reservations' on the Disney website ... even after inputing my confirmation number. I wonder if only certain events are not showing yet.

I'm having issues with the 'Discovery of Chocolate'. Has anybody recieved confirmation of this event on the 'my reservations' page??

We are staying at the BW so we should be fine ... at least that is what I told DH:rotfl:

We will store our carry on bags at the BW, pick up the car and be on our way ... even if we need to cut out of the event a few minutes early!

Yes, I have my confirmation number. Thanks for the advice.
I'm in the same boat as you. Six of our seven events show up in my reservation list online. All seven have posted to my charge account. When I search for the missing reservation with my confirmation number, the system cannot find it. I tried searching with both my home and cell phone numbers. I keep getting a message that reads "We are unable to find a match. Please reconfirm your details, or call (407) 939-6244." So, that's what I'm going to do... first thing in the morning.

EDIT: The other thing I find odd is that the event names are not listed in "My Reservations"... just the location, the time and the number of guests for each reservation. When I click on the links that read "View Details" I get a message that says "Error 500 - Server Error - There was a server error, apologies for the inconvenience."

We did the French Regional Lunch with an early evening flight for the last two years. Last year, our lunch was from 12-3:30pm on Sunday, October 24. Our flight from MCO was at 6:05pm. Like you, we were staying at the BWV and had stowed our bags. We just walked back to the BWV, hubby retrieved the stowed luggage while I hailed the cab, we loaded up and headed out. Both times, we had no trouble at the airport. HOWEVER, both of these trips were pre-scanner days. I haven't been through MCO since the scanners were installed (we drove for both our March and our May trips). Does anyone know how much delay there is now that the security is a bit tighter?

Called right at 7:00, on hold for about 15 minutes. We got both of our reservations!

3-D Dessert Discovery, Sweet Seats: October 28th

Party for the Senses, Wine View Lounge: November 5th

We'll be spending the rest of our weeks sampling at booths, doing a few demonstrations, and of course, park touring...can't wait!!

Wife and I will be in the Wine View Lounge on the 5th as well!

.... Hoping to book the French Regional Lunch Nov 5 -- now Cotes du Rhone, no longer champagne.

Got it for November 6 -- somehow got a wacky Disney site that lists the dates as 5 and 7 -- maybe from last year?
Hey, Debbie!
Where do you see the F.R. Lunch listed as Cotes du Rhone for Nov 5? :scared1: I hope that is from last year, cause I booked the Champagne Frunch for November 4... that is what I am expecting, (and hoping is not changed) because that is what I booked. (:goodvibes Me wants Champagne!!):drinking1

Disbug,

You are correct. According to Disney's site:

Champagne is being held on Friday, 11/4 and Sunday, 11/6
Cotes du Rhone is being held on Friday, 11/14 and Sunday, 11/16

What dgaston saw was last year's bookings. November 5th is a Saturday. There are none on Saturdays.

I am waiting until next month at least to book the PFTS on November 5. I am not interested in the Wine View Lounge.

for the past two years they eventually offered cast members half price for the last two PFTS...so I am not anticipating their being sold out, outside the Wine View Lounge.

I don't think it's anything to do with the scanners. Even before they got them, I have been at MCO where the security line took upward of 45 minutes to get through. If you hit something like that you are just out of luck if you didn't arrive early, especially if you had to stand in line to check luggage before going to security.

I agree There is no real difference pre or post scanners. In either case it can be a DISASTER. MCO is very poorly run and management appearts to be clueless (And yes, MCO management is responsible for the set up that creates the issues.... it is not the actual screening that is the issue. I once found an MCO management team member and he admitted the airport was responsible for "line management" I suggested he ask Disney for help and he basically told me "this works just fine" LOL!)

I totally agree with this. My worst experiences/longest check-ins with Security the past several years have been at MCO -- and I travel out of Atlanta-Hartsfield, so that's saying Orlando is bad!
