Thank you! Love the "entertaining" in quotes!
According to the dog it was like an inland version of the "Jersey Shore". Instead of "Snooky" It was "Slutty" doing the dog sitting. I don't get the twenty somethings and their code of behavior concerning "such matters". I just hope they have enough penicillin to treat that entire age group.
Here's what happened with the cabs last week: The first time, I called early in the morning. The CL desk was closed so I got the front desk. They arranged to have a cab waiting for us at 7am for our 7:30am reservation at Ohana.
The second time was in the evening, so I talked to the CL CMs. They recommended that we go downstairs and just ask for a cab. That worked, too. So we asked at the valet stand in the front of BC and they got a cab for us in just minutes. On the way back, we just stepped outside at the CR and they got a cab for us within minutes there, too.
I was comfortable with 30 minutes before an ADR in the MK area. Hope that helps!
This was an excellent answer. I was wondering about the early morning thing too but I forgot to ask.
I know that if we have a very early ADR, say at like the Crystal Palace, we should discuss the bus situation with the cast members at the Hotel.
On our last trip (dog was Staying AT a friends house this time so no more "Slutty".... Can you imagine? My house would have shown up on Google maps marked "Brothel") When we were staying at POFQ my husband and son did "The Behind the Steam Trains Tour" and they had to be at Magic Kingdom very early.
We arranged for a cab from the Cab company the night before. The cab dropped them off at the Contemporary where they hoofed it to the Magic Kingdom in time for the tour, which started at around 7:15 am. If you were late, they left without you and no refunds!
Thanks for the Cab info. Pixarmom.
I shall now bestow upon you, the masses of the Beach Club faithful, what I learned from MY flooding while you're on vacation FIASCO.
If you turn down the temp on your water heater before you leave for vacation, the drain faucet at the bottom might leak because the water isn't heating up the metal in the faucet as much..... so the valve innards may contract and let water leak out. (God Bless the quality that is "Made in China").
For
Less than $2 you can go to the hardware store or Lowes Depot and purchase a GARDEN HOSE END CAP. Screw it on that faucet and you'll never have to worry about that bad boy dripping AGAIN!
Why they don't automatically come with this no brainer of a part is beyond me but I wouldn't put it past the trade school flunk outs who were sent to install the water heater to leave it in the box and throw it out.
Don't get me wrong, I love the working man and woman, especially one that is in the trades, but the 2 kids that showed up to do this water heater project were beyond incompetent. I will spare you the details of their further idiocy. Lets just say this.... if the contractor showing up at your house doesn't shave yet and his Uncle is his boss (Who is coming later.... NOT!) SLAM the DOOR SHUT and call someone who cares!
Thus endeth my epistle on water heaters and you!
