Thanks for this info!

BTW- does anyone have a picture of the BCV pool? I just noticed I don't have one on the first page.

Still looking for a deck level picture of the YC quiet pool, too. I have one taken from a room, but I am looking for a full picture.

More villa than pool.

Could we host The Noodle Family during our YC stay? Feb 12-15th? If so, let me know if you need additional info from me.

Thanks!

2. Can water/pool view rooms be on the first floor? I have not put in a room request yet so I was curious about that.
Thank you all!:goodvibes

Yes, water/pool view rooms can definitely be first floor rooms.

We loved staying on the first floor, view of Crescent Lake was awesome. And our room, which was on the end of the first "hallway" that juts out along the back walkway into the BC, across from SAB, was so convenient to the lobby and Marketplace. Great location!

Have fun!

Booked our airfare today!! Always makes me feel "locked in" and that everything is finalized. We also added another night at BC to the end of our trip. DS6 has been asking if we could do ten days, and that's what we're doing on this surprise trip!! Almost had the urge to tell him we were indeed going to be there for ten days, but since he doesn't even know we're going at all, I decided to stay mum.

So, we're two nights at AKV, two nights at SoG, then five nights at BC CL!!! Can't wait!!!!

Just booked our very first Beach Club stay for the end of Feb! We'll be there three nights. We're excited to be so close to Epcot and the Studios.

Another Bing tidbit. If you look at the map, especially around International Gateway, and zoom in you see the Marathon runners. You can pan over or follow them around WS Lagoon and see the finish line set up in the parking lot.

(Note to self: Must stop looking at map :surfweb:!)

Hi again Suzanne! For a first Disney trip, with four kids paying child prices for the dining plan and lots of character meals, the dining plan might work very well for you! (Two of our three kids are "Disney adults" so that's an entirely different story!)

Part of the reason we've enjoyed CL so much recently is that we have APs and we've been going to Disney for so long, so we don't spend as much time in the parks as we did without APs. For most first-time visitors, there is so much to do and see that it might be tough to fit in enough time in the club lounge to make it a good value.

Don't get me started on what Disney considers an adult!!!

1. I was last at the BC in March 2011, and didn't see any resort-themed merchandise. Has any returned to the Marketplace? I was specifically looking for a BC shirt/sweatshirt.

We have not seen any reports of BC resort merchandise showing up yet :sad2: Hopefully soon. Some resorts are starting to get their supplies and The Yacht Club has a decent inventory.

Thanks, Mike. Added it to Page 1.

Thanks!

Added you to the list :cool1:

We would love to host the noodle family February 18-22 if they are available!:yay:

You too! :yay:

(Are the dates listed above your trip dates? I didn't have that on the B.O.G. list)

:thumbsup2 Cool - very observant!

Just back from BCV and it was awesome!!! Love BC/YC :)

So glad to hear you had a great time!!!

Just booked our very first Beach Club stay for the end of Feb! We'll be there three nights. We're excited to be so close to Epcot and the Studios.

:welcome:

I think you will love the resort!

Would you like to be added to the Page 1 Be Our Guest list? What are your dates in Feb?

Good morning! Time to go look at my new favorite map. :-)

I am so excited to say that I will be back at the BC in 27 days!:goodvibes

I don't think I have either of your dates. If you would like to be added to the Page 1 Be Our Guest list, let us know your checkin/checkout days. Thanks!

UGH! Last night he told me the day he is doing the Builders Show has changed. It really messes up 2 days worth of ADR's possibly 3 and plans on which parks to go. I am trying to reschedule everything but am unsure. The day he changed to is our MK day. I hate to put it farther into our week. So I may have to change our DHS day too. The our reservations are for both. Nothing like waiting till the last minute!!:headache: The reservations it messes with are the

Liberty Tree in MK
Kona Cafe
Sci Fi at DHS
and Cape May Cafe for dinner that was suppose to be the night he went to the show.

We are gearing up for our first stay at the Yacht Club, our very first stay in the Epcot Area!

We just got a standard view room but I was wondering where we should request to be? What floor, area, that kind of thing?

Thanks!:cool1:

Ok...staying home with this broken foot is making me crazy... so crazy that i've changed my plans for the upcoming trip again! I am not one to keep changing the plan, but with all this time laying on the couch while the foot heels has made me keep changing the plan! I am still wait listed for BCV's, but instead of all the nights at AKV's I am now staying the first night at... gasp.... the boardwalk villa's :thumbsup2 . I have never stayed there, but figured at least I'm walking distance to EPCOT. I could only get one night in a one bedroom with a boardwalk view... so I grabbed it! I can now cross that off my bucket list and say i've done it! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that BCV's wait list will come through :thumbsup2

Hopefully next week after 8 weeks of no weight the Dr. will allow weight on the foot and I will leave my Disney plans alone!!!

Fingers crossed:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Also can someone post the link for the Bing map you keep talking about. I'd love to check it out.

Thanks!

Sorry about your foot. I broke my foot 2 weeks before my 20th anniversary F&W trip. The first thing I asked was "Can I go to Disney" His reply "In a wheelchair" I was casted but I could weight bear...but ouch!

I do have to say there were no issued doing the World with the cast. My poor DH did push me around, but I was chicken to try an ECV. The location at BWV will make life easier for you IMO :goodvibes And I hope the waitlist comes through! AND hope the Dr. OKs weight bearing for your trip!

Hi everyone... love the Bing maps! Anyhow, as I'm looking at the Yacht Club I'm wondering if someone could point out where the lobby is. I originally requested a room close to the lobby (we have a garden view) but now I'm not sure if that is the best choice. Others recommended the wedding gazebo view- is that the area I circled in red? Bottom line is we'd like a room close to the pool in case we forget anything, and we'd also prefer a room closest to the walking routes to Epcot and HS. Please advise, thank you so much!
