You are all very welcome!

If it is ok with you, MsCoz2000, I can copy your pictures into my photobucket and use them either on front page FAQ pages, or to answer questions as they come up.

I think the moderators close threads when they get past 250 pages, so we still have some time before I need to migrate the first few pages. I'll probably add more pictures and make some of the existing ones bigger when I update the pages.

Yes, feel free. I have them in a photobucket account already, so if there is an easy way for me to "share" them with you to save you some work please let me know.

Stayed at BC Cl 12/18-12/23 (left at 5am on the 23d :sad1:). I think BC is my new favorite resort at WDW! I'll post more later but my family loved the room, pool, Cape May breakfast and dinner, and most of all the location!

WOW MsCoz.......Thanks for the beautiful pictures. Quite a winter pick me up and such a pleasant surprise ..

Be careful Karen. It is quite addictive.

We were fortunate that our last full day at WDW last week was warm and sunny We enjoyed the character breakfast at Cape May (man those grits were good), walked into Epcot to take advantage of the 20% off shopping coupon and to ride TestTrack and then headed back to the hotel to enjoy the pool. I sent DH over to Hurricane Hannah's for the much prized Sunken Treasure. He came back with the deliciously, refreshing, absolutely perfect beverage BUT he told me it is no longer on the menu and he had to specifically ask for it. One bartender did not know how to make it, but thankfully Rocky, who was serving pool side and also bartends remembered the recipe and they whipped on up! Rocky was a gem and gave DH the recipe so we can try to make it ourselves, but it won't be as good as sipping it in sunny Floriday in December at SAB!

So, don't despiar if you don't spot the Sunken Treasure on the menu, just ask for it. Rocky says they update the drink menus every year or so. Sunken Treasure was popular and stayed on for two years or so but is taking a break...

Thanks to all for the tip! I never did get to have my Grand Marnier slushie. Oh well, guess I will have to return soon!

Hey we need the recipie on the front page, or at least posted, that is important stuff.:rotfl: Was thinking of stopping in to get one while we're there. Thanks for the heads up.

???Quick question for the pros - how is the drawer space at the Yacht Club? We stayed at the Poly in 2009, and I thought it was pretty good - how does the Yacht Club compare? Of course, with 5 of us, there is never enough anyway. But at least I'll be mentally prepared!
Thanks!!!:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Got home a few weeks ago from my first stay at BC.. and WOW! It's my new favorite. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the location is the best. Plus we got to meet Teena! :)

Can't get photobucket to work for some reason, but when I do I have pics to share!

I'm home. Cruise was wonderful. Haven't even unpacked yet.

Weather was wonderful on whole cruise until we got off the ship in Florida this morning. So COLD!!!!!

Bob and I (and from the sounds of it 90% of the ship) had colds ... lots of coughing and sneezing. I had antibiotics (learned my lesson from Thanksgiving cruise) and when it started into my crest, I started on them and now it's just congestion and coughing. During the showing of Tron on the ship, you could hardly hear it from all the coughing and sneezing.

I'm working Saturday (New Year's Day), Sunday and Monday so I'll get to see lots of Dissers that are still there!!! Then it's off to Vegas to see Jeanne for 3 nights and to celebrate Christmas with her.

Welcome Home, Teena! Sorry to hear about the continuing health issues, but glad you were prepared and enjoyed some warm weather. Would love to hear more cruise details when you have time.

I know ... this has been a bad year for sinus infections, etc. Hopefully 2011 will be healthier! It's tough getting old!!!

We enjoyed the new ports we visited (Guadeloupe, Barbados and especially Martinque). We always enjoy St. Maarten and St. Thomas and Castaway Cay of course. We had nice table mates and I read 9 books and no I don't have a Kindle thingy. We spent most of the time at the adult pool taking in the rays and reading. The food was excellent as always. Only one negative. In the weeks since I was there over Thanksgiving, they sent so many more of their seasoned crew to the Dream and the Wonder (because they wanted crew that was use to dealing with 7 day cruises on the Wonder now --- we were told this). Anyway, because of that, especially at Guest Relations and in the Dining Room, the service wasn't up to Disney standards. The people were new and trying hard but not there or even close to being there. Past cruisers were talking about it during the whole cruise. And there were mistakes on the Personal Navigator almost every day ... big mistakes that somebody would have picked up if they had proofed it. Like on Tuesday's Navigator, it listed weather forecasts for Friday and Saturday. It normally lists the weather forecast for that day and the next day, so on Tuesday's Navigator it should have had the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday. The important information you receive in the stateroom for getting off the ship that tells you about breakfast, leaving the ship, how to fill out customs forms, etc. was wrong. It listed customs information for a western caribbean cruise ... not a cruise that stopped in St. Thomas where the customs allowance changes drastically. I called the front desk about it when I received the paper and the person was clueless. I had to read the correct information to him from the large book that is in each statement desk drawer. He then said he'd check with the manager. He came back and said they made a mistake and would make an announcement so people would have the correct information. Then never did. It was just stuff like that ... because that have all these new people that don't know what they are doing yet. Dinners took forever ... orders were missing.

But it was wonderful ... so nice and peaceful and quiet and relaxing.

Exciting News!!!!!

I'm going to be a Grandmother in July. A Disney Baby is Coming!!!

Welcome back Teena!!! You certainly came home to some interesting news! Congratulations! I think I can already hear the "spoiling" tone in your voice...

I'm glad you had a wonderful cruise with great weather. Sounds like you missed some mighty cold days in Florida. It's a shame about the new CMs on the ship, but good thing you are a cruise veteran who was not tripped up by any misinformation.

Look forward to hearing more from you soon!

Dee

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

Being a grandmother is fabulous - best wishes on the new little princess or prince!!!!!!

They don't want to know whether it's a prince or princess until the birth ... which is already driving me crazy! Doctor says it will be a C-section ... probably third or fourth week in July. I have to postpone Jeanne's and Mom's Dude Ranch Adventure that is scheduled for July 10th. We're going to postpone it for a year.

Uh oh - looks like we might miss you this year. We'll be at BC July 15-30. Sounds like you might be doing some important "helping out" this summer.

When I had my first four they didn't do routine ultrasounds so I didn't know if it was a boy or a girl until they were born. I knew the last three. It definitely made it easier to know but I think not finding out until I had the baby was a lot more exciting!!!!

Teena - quick question - there's a new thread that is all about how computers are going to do the room assigning instead of cms. Do you think we'll still be able to make room requests? I booked a gv cl room and was definitely hoping to make a request!

Sounds like you had a wonderful cruise. Did you just find out the "news" when you got back or was it a Christmas present? Think of all the fun you'll have introducing your grandchild to Disney!!!!!

Teena: I just did something impulsive!

We've had a very stressful holiday. My father passed away on the 23rd and due to the holidays, of course, everything (funeral, etc.) was drawn out past the holidays. In the middle of it all, we had the biggest snow that we've had in 21 years. I just called my friend who also works at Disney and she helped me book a last minute trip. Looks like I'll be driving down tomorrow and staying through Sunday.

I know it sounds ridiculous but the Epcot area has always been a stress reliever for me and I definitely need it now. It won't change anything but it will make me smile for a while, I just know it.

Maybe I'll see you this weekend. I enjoyed seeing you so much this past August.

Nettie
