That is so funny~ most people I know have their's stuck on 'Stacy' We are tuned to the disney channel....my hubby has turned it to the news and the kids act like they are in total shock!!!

They give out marshmallows for roasting (and some kind of thing to roast them with) at the Beach before the movie so you don't need to buy them.

Hooray! I leave today for our YC trip. Jim hates early flights, so we don't leave until 1:30 out of Greene in Rhode Island. I am looking forward to this trip and meeting Teena. I hope I get to meet some others as well.

IHow do bounceback offers work? Are they usually for a short period of time or say when we are there in November could we book our trip for next November? Unfortunately we can only get down to Disney once a year.

You will have a card in your room offering a significant discount if you book your next stay before you leave from this one. If there is no card in the room ask mousekeeiping or the front desk to get you one because often mousekeeping just "forget" to put one out. If they aren't offering it at the time of your stay, they will tell you. The bounceback period is usually spelled out on the card. I haven't heard what the bounceback period is right now though. Maybe one of the DISers that just got back can tell you.

TeenaS has some great tips on this bounceback a few pages back or on the thread that was just recently closed.

22 nights at WDW, every one is envious of this, but the two days in the air for travel must be a killer!!! Hope you have a great time.

22 nights at WDW, every one is envious of this, but the two days in the air for travel must be a killer!!! Hope you have a great time.

The flying isn't too bad, its only about 24 hours total (14 hours to LAX, then 5.5 hours from LAX, then wait time airports, so that's not too bad ). Travel to Europe is worse for we Aussies, that's usually about 30 or more hours.

It's worth the travel time for WDW, we love it there

To all you Disboarders heading to the Yacht and Beach Club for your first visit, congratulations. We have been BCV owners since 2002 and it is definitely my "Happy Place". I like the other resorts but the atmosphere and location are simply the best. I hope you all have a magical vacation and know that many of us on the boards are supremely jealous! Enjoy!

Ok. I decided I'll never catch up Sorry to everyone for missing the meet. I was SO sad. The first 24 hrs of our BWV stay was a disaster and we did not have access to our room again until 5:00 on the 8th. We ended up arriving at Ohanas 1 hour past our reservation time. Luckily, they were still able to seat us.
We have all agreed that no more BW and its back to BCV next trip.

Teena; I requested the front desk leave you a message that I would be unable to attend. Did you receive it?

I am just trying to catch up on the last few days!!! This thread is flying.

We're back!!!!!

Well we're back from our marathon Disney vacation!

It was wonderful. You know how some people post the good,the bad and the ugly about their Disney vacations? Well in all honestly there wasn't any bad or ugly! (although 2 scary parts).

I don't know if we are the most popular but we are probably the friendliest! And luckiest! We have a knowledgeable CM who volunteers her time to answer all sorts of questions about the resort. Thanks, Teena!

Well we've been back for not quite three days and today we are booking a return trip to the YC. We originally thought we'd maybe go next fall. Obviously we couldn't wait that long! I'm booking today for January - so excited! We have an early flight the Sunday morning of the marathon so we are going to move over to a Universal hotel on our last night so we don't have to be worried about being able to make it over to the airport! So excited to be going back. I miss it already!
