2010 Mom's Panel Results along with lists of Round 2 & 3 Participants

Good Morning, Friends

This is all SO exciting and fun! Thank you again for all of the support.

So far, we've discovered that there are FOUR Dads on this years panel: Joel, Marc, Jonas and Bernie. I've invited Bernie over to this thread to introduce himself...hopefully we'll "see" him here soon.

This Panel will be the largest yet, with 10 full timers and approximately 10 part timers (from what I've seen so far on other media sites). Training is going to be SO MUCH FUN...I simply can't wait to meet everyone! Looks like there's at least one from Canada and possibly one from Puerto Rico. I LOVE all the diversity...such a Small World afterall

THANKS again everyone!! I've neglected my housework for a few days (wonder why)...so I'm off to tackle that mountain of laundry that's calling my name

Hello everyone!

I've been reading and lurking for some time now, but I got the call today and wanted to say Hello!

I was thrilled to find out today that I made it into the Disney Mom's Panel for 2010.... Um, I was too shocked to think to ask if I was full time or part time!

My name is Amy (Lumpling on twitter, amy rue on facebook) and I'm a mom to 2...a nine year old boy and 6 year old girl.

We live in the North Georgia mountains, about an hour north of Atlanta. My husband and I run a restaurant/hotel up here and we run a couple of businesses out of our home!

I'm just tickled that I made it. I really thought that I bombed it during the phone interview! The ole deer in the headlights by phone!

I look forward to meeting everyone, this still feels so surreal!

I will get busy and add you to our ever growing list. It takes a little time because there are lists on 8 different pages of this thread (1,7,13,25,78,78,80,and 124) that need to be changed when someone new announces!

I see you are from Jasper, GA. Are you familiar with the Young Harris area? My oldest daughter is a professor at the college there. She also runs the outdoor challenge course (tower and low ropes), and also leads backpacking, repelling, rafting, kayaking, and caving trips affiliated with the college. Maybe we can meet up next time we are in the area to see her! I will admit that it is one of the prettiest areas of the US I have ever seen!

Please do not make yourself a stranger to the DisBoards. We would love to hear all about your adventures and of course we are all here to give (unwanted) advice!

I hear the most difficult part about the training classes is figuring out what clothes to pack! There are some restrictions on what you can and can not wear! Make sure you ask what you can wear and then have fun packing!

That's a great idea -- a list of all the blogs, Twitter handles and maybe even Facebook pages so that we can follow everyone. I know we did that for the Round 2 semi-finalists too.

I can't wait to follow along on the 2010 panelist's adventures.

Info for everyone: I am on facebook everyday. Please add me if you haven't already My blog is mainly my family and daily life info. I started it as a way to jot down precious memories that escape too quickly. However, I DO plan to blog about my Moms Panel journey...so my extended family and friends can enjoy the ride too I joined twitter last night and have NO idea what I'm doing on there at all and don't have time to even begin to figure it out right now

Sorry about that! I got your PM. Thanks for catching my mistake. Sometimes things copy from paste all wrong!

I think I have it corrected now and added the info on Maribel. If you will edit/correct it on your post then it will not be up there and incorrect.
