2010 Mom's Panel Results along with lists of Round 2 & 3 Participants

Congrats to everyone making the panel! So many dads....makes one wonder when they'll change the name to Disney obsessed "parent's" panel??? I'm slowly starting to add all of you to my networking sites. You do know that we want a full report with pictures from start to finish of your journey!!?? I'm curious to see how the part-time positions pan out and who gets to stay on the panel from the previous members. Wonder how all that is determined?

I will get busy and add you to our ever growing list. It takes a little time because there are lists on 8 different pages of this thread (1,7,13,25,78,78,80,and 124) that need to be changed when someone new announces!

I see you are from Jasper, GA. Are you familiar with the Young Harris area? My oldest daughter is a professor at the college there. She also runs the outdoor challenge course (tower and low ropes), and also leads backpacking, repelling, rafting, kayaking, and caving trips affiliated with the college. Maybe we can meet up next time we are in the area to see her! I will admit that it is one of the prettiest areas of the US I have ever seen!

Please do not make yourself a stranger to the DisBoards. We would love to hear all about your adventures and of course we are all here to give (unwanted) advice!

I hear the most difficult part about the training classes is figuring out what clothes to pack! There are some restrictions on what you can and can not wear! Make sure you ask what you can wear and then have fun packing!

Your daughter sounds like a super impressive and busy woman! Wow!

Young Harris is about an hour northeast of us! I have some good friends that went to college there years ago and they have always spoken of it fondly.

We'd love to have you come out to eat at our restaurant in Jasper next time you are in North Georgia! My husband, Hans, and I love meeting online friends and feeding them a fabulous dinner at the Woodbridge Inn.

You know, I am worried about the clothes now that I'm thinking about it! Hopefully, I will find out more before I show up wearing a great big faux pas!

Wow Kaylene! You have super investigative skills! My day has been a whirlwind of activity today! My facebook and twitter friends have gone while, plus some of us 2010'ers have been getting to know each other a little better.. Add in work, and the gym... and I can't believe how time is flying by!

As soon as I have a minute, I'm going to start thinking about packing and shopping! There are only three weekends until training, and one is Thanksgiving weekend!! I am sooo NOT complaining though! I'm still on

I can say that I expressed to Laura in a conversation that I would hope that they did NOT change the name from Disney Moms Panel. Even though I am obviously not a mom, I think "Disney Parents Panel" just doesn't "POP"! Moms Panel is more catchy!

And I don't mind being called a "Mom" at all!

Hi Guys! I'm so sorry to be MIA! Things hae been a whirlwind since Tuesday! I didn't realize that becoming a Disney Mom meant no more sleeping!! Just Kidding, but with all the excitement going on with meeting the 2010 panel and the current moms, I haven't had a second to do anything!

Good thing I used up all my nerves cleaning the house last weekend, because I haven't touched a pile of laundry since then!

I just thought I'd stop by to share that most of us have been contacted regarding making our flight arrangements (which should be finalized next week sometime).

We also received word that we are staying at the CONTEMPORARY RESORT this year!! I would have been equally thrilled to stay at the Coronado, as I haven't done that yet either. This, however, is going to be VERY cool

Hope you all had a great week Most of us from the Panel have spent any spare time getting to know each other...in 3 weeks from yesterday, we'll be meeting in person This is SOOOOOOOOOOO exciting

What exciting news. You will love the Contemporary. The convenience of the monorail is such a plus but I be you all will have special limos to drive you around where you need to go. What fun you will have being part of this panel!
