We had trouble booking in the past... I think they do not set aside many rooms as it is a convention center they get much more money from business and they don't want to many FD's when they can get business people in there for much more money and no FD....

Lovely... I sure hope my TA can get us the FD when the general public offer comes out. We are already booked at CSR.

Just want to say thank you to Knox and everyone who's kept this thread going and up to date. I just booked assp with kids stay and play free since that was a better deal for me for 8/30-9/5!!

Hope everyone else has success and gets what they want!!

Have a magical day!!!

REGARDING CSR

Remember.. this 'sold out state' was for the dates she checked.. I doubt the CM checked all possible dates.. altho it is possible there was no inventory allocated to CSR ..

It took 28 minutes but I got it. We had a existing reservation for 9/15-9/25 at Pop now we upgraded to the regular dining plan. I don't think $240 is bad for 4 people to eat for 10 days. Now I just need a good deal on airfare.

IF the free dining is offered for the GP on May 3rd as rumored where would be the best place to check that morning. Will someone post a new thread titled free dining offered for GP? Should I check the WDW website? I just want to make sure I am checking the right place bright and early!!!

Also, we are going 10/2-10/9, so as long as one of our days is 10/2 we would get the whole week? I thought I read that someone did in a previous post?

Probably will be posted on this thread...just like today :) Might have it's own thread too....just check the codes and rates board.

I think you're better off with the stay, play and dine deal - with the ages of your kids (all three are free, right?)

I just called and booked POR for 3 nights, and the stay, play and dine deal was a bit better for our family - and we just have two kids at that age. (it was about $35 less than the free dining). It also depends on how long you're staying - kids 3 day tix free was a better deal than everyone's dining free for 3 nights. But if you're staying 7 nights, that might be a better deal....

The CM we got when we first called told me the difference, it was 100.00 for my room (we have two rooms) and so that was for 1 adult and 3 children in the right age range. So we kept the Kids plan on that one and just changed the other room to the QSDP for free. They can run the numbers for you (really quickly) and so I'd just ask.

so it's out right???

For Disney Visa holders today...and most are saying for general public on Monday :)

So excited!!! Called and only a 10 minute wait!! Booked CBR for 10 days and FREE DINING! I already had the 35% off room only, but Free Dining saved me another $200!!! Hooray!

So, if we are annual pass holders - we have to buy tickets?

yep!

Looks like it's either a 2 day or 3 day ticket (I keep seeing different reports) and that is per person in your traveling party.

Okay...finally got through. My home phone got through in about 25 minutes I was still on hold on my cell (40 minutes in)....glad I decided to call back on my house phone and it went a bit faster. I added one more day, just in case LOL and she said that if I changed and wanted to upgrade to regular dining later I could do that....so I'll run the numbers today and wait for the phones to die down to make that decision LOL I also went ahead and added tickets to the room we have the kids stay play dine for free...we only had 1 day base on that room but the first CM said I could upgrade when I got there. I was nervous about that since sometimes when the promotion runs out so do the upgrade options at that price so I went ahead and added our tickets on to that room.

Does anyone know if I can upgrade the free kids dining if I decide to upgrade it on my other room? And just pay the difference for the kids and myself?

Did you book the free dining for one room and the kids deal for the other room?

FD is out for VISA holders only right now. Which rules out us Canadians until the general public offer comes out.

first the Brits now the Yanks.....what about those in the great white north:confused3

WAH WAH WAH WAH

I am happy:goodvibes:goodvibes for all DVisa cardholders, but sad for the rest of us that have to wait. :surfweb:

Please let it be Monday please let it be Monday:wizard:

Can anyone find out for us? Please.....

After 35 minutes on hold...

CSR 9/14-9/21 standard room. $2117.28. Two adults and two children (3 & 1) with 7 day MYW park hoppers!

Good luck everyone!

What I find odd is that if it weren't for word of mouth, how would you know about this deal? I didn't get an email from Chase and it's not on their site. :thumbsup2;)

Yeah, my DH didn't believe me that free dining was out this morning. I woke him up while I was on hold because I needed help getting the kids ready while I took care of this. He came down and checked the Disney Visa site, and the WDW site, and asked me if I was sure (I was still on hold). I told him it was on the DIS so it must be true, and sure enough it was!

I got it as well, and also upgraded from Pop to Riverside. Funny thing was, I had Pop booked with dining originally and the cost for Riverside with free dining was essentually the same. The price difference between paying for the dining upgrade at Pop and getting regular dining at a moderate was around 500 dollars for our whole 10 nights. I didn't think 500 bucks was much to upgrade resorts so I felt like this was the perfect time to go for it.

So, who's waiting for the naysayers to come back in here and appologize? :confused3:rotfl:

okay value is QD so you upgraded......is moderate regularDP

Where does it say that MNSSHP dates are released and tickets are on sale now?:confused3
When I called earlier, the CM told me that MNSSHP started 9/14 (I think that was the date - I posted it like 40 pages ago...LOL). Tickets on sale today for MNSSHP AND Christmas. I told her I was posting while she was talking, so she told me to post that as well.

Did you book the free dining for one room and the kids deal for the other room?

Yes....I didn't think it was possible but the CM was very nice and said that actually it was a better deal to leave the one room with me and my 3 little ones as it was already booked (Kids stay, play and dine for free, and 1 adult paying for the QSDP). It was a bit over 100.00 difference....so I said okay. I changed my other room since it is my husband and 2 'disney adult' kids LOL and it saved us around 400.00....we had to add a day to our tickets since we only had 1 day base and the minimum for this deal is a 2 day base.
