I see on the list lots of ice cream cones and cups, and an occasional ice cream sandwich. But what about the carts that have popcicles and ice cream bars - and Mickey bars? Are those on snack credits?

They normally all are but you should always ask before ordering.

We were in Epcot Saturday and got Kaki Gori for a snack credit. The emblem is not on the sign but when I gave the cashier my KTTW card, she automatically took off a snack credit.

Some people on here before have said, it sometimes depends on who's working the cash register. If one person is telling you no it's not a snack credit, then do what you wish (pay oop, don't get it, ect.) But if you go back and someone different is at the stand you may try your luck the 2nd time around and get lucky. :confused3

Chili Cheese fries at All Stars are questionable. My daughter ordered them on 8/15 and it was covered under a snack. Later in the week we ordered them again and it was not covered. The fries would count as a meal. We weren't going to use a CS option on fries, so we payed for them. We asked for a manager and she said it has been going back and forth over the last few days. The manager was able to refund our money and put them through as a snack option.

Under Downtown Disney (Market Place) both sizes of popcorn are listed. Does that mean that they allow the buckets too?

I have a slight obsession with them so I'll buy it anyway but I'm still curious.

We were also allowed to use snack credits for Kaki Gori two days ago. I guess it's hit or miss, as some have said.

Also noticed that at Goofy's Candy Co. in Downtown Disney they are allowing you to redeem a snack credit on the the make your own marshmallows. Wish they'd allow the pretzel rods again!

Is it possible to go to a TS restaurant and just get a dessert with a snack credit? Some of the TS places have really interesting desserts but the meals don't appeal to me much. I'm assuming I would be allowed to just order a dessert if I can even get in without a reservation. Anyone ever tried this??

Never tried it but the desserts at most TS restaurants are well over $4.00 so I'm thinking you'd probably have to pay OOP rather than be able to use a snack credit. I've heard of people going to the Sci-Fi just to get a milk shake or dessert, but they paid OOP. If you have a package booked and have the Planet Hollywood voucher, you should be able to use that $15 to get just a dessert and drink or an appetizer.

Once I went to Le Chefs and just got dessert at the bar. This was a LOONNG time (20 years) ago when I was a pre-teen. At the time Epcot, for some crazy reason, had taken away the crepe stand.

I have also heard of many people eating at the bar at Prime Time. Because they don't want to deal with the "antics".

But using a SC...? My guess would be a big huge NO. Sorry. :sad1:

I just completed a stay at Pop Century. Cereal with Milk is no longer a snack option (it actually was removed as an option on our third day). Also, Grits is available as a snack (but not oatmeal - which was a snack a few months ago). Some cashiers entered Oatmeal as Grits (allowing the snack) while others did not. (I did not ask them to do that - they offered after I asked if my oatmeal was a snack).

Aside from grits, do ANY cereals w/milk count as a snack credit? We'll be staying at POR.

Thanks!

Karla B.

Last November cereal with milk was considered one snack credit at POFQ, I'd check though, just to make sure it still is.

***For those who are copying my thread to your own web site: I know I can not stop you from doing it but at least give credit to the person who did the work for the past 4 years***

You could put a copyright notice on the list and change your permission language to require them to include credit and how you want it credited. For example, "If you would like to copy this compilation of data into your own website, please PM me for permission." or "If you would like to copy this compilation of data into your own website, please include the following credit statement: '(c) 2010 jjohnson. Used with permission.'"

I could be wrong, but I don't think you can claim copyright for a list of facts that you compiled from other sources. Copyright is for original works.

There is also a copyright in a compilation, though the level of creativity involved is what makes it copyrightable. In this case, jjohnson is not suggesting that people should pay, but that they should give credit for the work involved.

Thank you I did not know this. I really just wanted some type of credit on their web site. I have found it on many other web sites and none have mentioned where they have obtained the information. I'll look into this further.

Hmm...well not all but most of the list was confirmed during my visits. More in the parks than the resorts.
