Its not working and neither is my DH (sorry weird humor). So not going to disney is upsetting but at this point its the least of my worries. I'll take all the pixie dust I can - thank you!

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, we went away for just last night and just got home. JJ&J's Mom - so sorry to hear this! We are definitely here for you! I have a close friend whose kids are the same age as mine (almost 4 and almost 6) who had to file for divorce in October. I see what she has struggled with, so I send lots of hugs and prayers your way!!

Just getting back to the boards and saw the new info about Grad Nights!! Moving to Hollywood Studios for 2009! Very interesting. Also all in April again, so they won't be going on at all when we were there. My "planning" involved thinking they would be at MK on May 2nd, but that won't be the case. I doubt my plans will change, since we'll likely check into the Poly in the early AM and head to MK, we'll probably just hang at the resort in the evening anyways.

I just booked our trip for December 31, 2008-January 12-2009.

I told DS 18 that we were taking his brother age 5 for Christmas (Santa is bringing everything) and offered to take him. He turned me down. He is at college and I figured he would be staying there to see friends. DS18 called me this morning and asked if it was too late to add him.

I asked if he had chnaged his mind and wanted to spend time with us and he said "a free trip to Disney is a free trip to Disney - seeing you, dad and Drew is secondary"

Nice to know where I rate. So he is spening Christmas with relatives where he goes to school and will meet us on the 31st.

I sooooooo enjoy this prolonged planning we are all in the middle of. However, yesterday at lunch, one of the teachers walked in, came up to me and said "booked it last night". She just started thinking 3 days ago that they may go, and then, BAM! It's booked and she's in the groove.

I'm so excited for her and her kids (she and dh will put them in the car after school and just start driving...not telling them where they're going). I love this!!!!!!!!!!

I love the planning stages...especially since we are going when it is sorta busy. Today I asked DH if he would want to stay at the Poly with his brother and mom or have two separate rooms at Pop...well, he just looked at me like I had three heads. He cannot believe I am already planning. I will just keep the planning to myself until it is getting closer to leaving.

We'll be going with some dear friends for a week in May 2009 for my 40th. My birthday is in March but we are waiting until May so we can miss Spring Break and maybe hit the flower festival. We might stay a few more days after they leave and I have my heart set on the Poly.

That being said, DH is sure it will never work, and that she won't follow through. If not, I'll start checking into renting points, which is a new thing for us! If that mocking bird won't sing, we'll book through AAA.

Mine will be Cindy's Castle for lunch ( with my mom and my daughter), Chef Mickey's for dinner the first night (it just brings forth the Disney magic and we did this our first family trip), and Le Cellier for lunch (late lunch worked well for us). Yum! I am so looking forward to 2009.

and....BBB in the castle for Maddie. I want to do the updo bun with the crown. Looks so sweet on other little girls. I will try to correlate this with the Princess meal at Epcot or the castle...first I have to see what I can get.

We loved breakfast with the Princess' at Akershus. That was Maddie's 1st character meal and it was a BLAST! I love the cinnamon roll-type things. Yummy!!
