Thanks! :goodvibes

The :laundy: never ends, does it? Sometimes I think DH and 2DSs change their clothes when I'm not looking ... because those hampers sure fill up fast! :confused3

Congratulations on your weight loss! :thumbsup2

Yeah! I just got done convincing hubby that we need to book the cruise portion of our vacation asap. After much "convincing" he finally gave in. We are going to do 4 nights on the Wonder from August 9-13. I am figuring we'll be at the World the week before.

I'm kind of ticked. My sister is still talking about a time share. SHE DOESN'T GET THE PERKS ABOUT STAYING ONSITE. I am trying to figure out a way she can stay off and then on so she can compare the two.

She has three young children and morning EMH hours will be perfect for her. Also, she wants to do the character meals with them. The character meal costs will make staying onsite with her children worth it.

Anyway, thanks for letting me vent.

Arkansas Mom:

I guess you'll have to move us to August now. I think we're gonna do POP again too. We loved it so much last year!

2 summers ago, we remodeled part of our house. Instead of using the savings by writing checks, we used our disney visa, then transferred over our savings to pay the visa. No interest fees, and we earned roughly $1000 reward dollars! Definetly the most useful card we have :thumbsup2 !
I love my Disney Visa! Espescialy with the new 5x the points deal!:thumbsup2

At least your family manages to get the clothes into the hamper:rolleyes1

Well l'm alittle late to the party but I would still like to join all of you, I'm planning a WDW trip for April of 2009, would have loved to went this year but we had a bad financal year last year so were shooting for 2009, hopefully that will give up enough time to save.

We are looking at staying in our travel trailer at FW...so we can take our doggie, even though I have been looking at rental houses, but it looks as if FW will be the way to go.

I will be trying to make a reservations next month, whenever I have alttle bit of money to pay on a deposit.

I can't wait ! :wizard:

Well, if you want to know the truth ..... we did have a family pow-wow just yesterday about the importance of picking up their bedroom floors. Funny how their favorite pair of jeans don't seem to get washed when they are BALLED UP UNDER THEIR BEDS! :scared1: Argghh!! To be fair, this seems to be more of a problem for DS13. DS10 (so far) doesn't do too bad. Then again, DS10 does not care what he wears to school near as much as Mr. Teenager. :sad2:

I just got the Disney Visa .... what's this about 5x? I think I've been just earning 1 Disney Dollar for each $100 charged on the card .... should I know about something better??? :confused3 :)

Post your info, and I'll update the list!

Our dates are Sept 18-27...still don't know where we will stay. I am having such a hard time trying to decide...all star family suite(lots' of room, crappy pool), poly, contemporary(love the pool but the decor is blah), or possibly squeeze into the POR...What do ya'll think?

Go Poly, Go Poly!!! LOL!! I just think it's the best of everything!!! large room size (not as big as the suites of course). Awesome pool, beach for Wishes and EWP, great restaurants and the transportation is the BEST in the World - Monorail to both MK and Epcot!!

DS and I may do two trips. I really would like to join thge Passporter Decade celebration in DW May 2-6 and put down my deposit for POFQ just to keep the hope alive:yay:

Definite plans for land/sea package with AKL and Halloween cruise.
Oct. 25-Nov 1. Fell in love with AKL on our first trip Dec 2007 now will finally get to stay there.

Now to keep putting the money down:goodvibes

See, I am really trying to talk myself into the fact that it will be much better on us to stay at a deluxe.
A- won't have to worry about transportation
B- won't have to do the water park option(since the pools are nice)
.....hmmm I may be leaning toward the Poly..have to do some more research..

katieloubear -

There are some rooms in POR with trendle beds. Not so good for adults, but the kids think they are cool. Plus the pool is awsome! (I'm partial though):goodvibes
