Unfortunately, the new vacation planner will not be out until late spring according to the news release on the member website announcing the changeover to RCI next year.

In the middle of 2009....alittle late for those looking at travelling in the 09 year no?

ah well, I'm a mouse kinda girl and I don't mean just mickey! Thank goodness for the internet!

I read on another thread that some people have received their 2009-2010 Vacation Planners!! Yeah! Nothing here yet.

DH grabbed the mail on Monday and told me we had "something" from DVC. I got my hopes up for the planner, but it was Disney Files instead. Still waiting...

For what it is worth, I was on the phone with MS yesterday and they said they presently being mailed.....

Hoping that is correct and not a 'your check is in the mail' response......

They told me the same thing when I called yesterday. I'll believe it when I see it but I do keep checking the mail.

At this point, they should not bother, lol. I think they should revise it and mail out 2010 and 2011.

I got mine several weeks ago- but just opened it 2 days ago (had a baby 3 weeks ago, so life has been a bit busy)
I called and asked about a new DVD. The last one I have had the "proposed plan" for Kidani Village at the end of it- dark green dvd. The woman I spoke with said she was pretty sure a new one had come out since then (dont know how I missed it or didnt get it) and she is mailing it out now.

I also ordered the latest Disney Vacation Planning DVD (but that takes 2-3 weeks) cant wait to get both of them!

Unfortunately, the new planner I received this week is only for 2009. It seems like a big waste of resources to send out a 2009 planner in JUNE of the same year! Most DVC members book way in advance. My 2009 trip was booked months ago, and I will be booking my 2010 trip within weeks. However, I could use a 2011 planner this year!

I do most of my research online anyway so I end up using the planner as a "coffee table book."

I agree! Why would they send out 2009 when the year is almost half over and most of us booked our trips at the 11 and 7 month marks? I was hoping for 2011 also. I've already got our trips planned out for the next few years .
