Has anyone heard when a schedule for the MVMCP will be out?

I am not planning on any ADR's for that night so we don't miss anything. We will probably eat at Cosmic Ray's before it all starts.

Has anyone done the party before or are we all first timers?

The schedule comes out around the time of the 1st mvmcp but you can see previous schedules at allearsnet.com when you go to the theme park section, go down to mvmcp and click.

I've been before in 2006 and its great. You'll love it.

don't forget they have Chip & Dale @ Cosmic Ray's during MVMCP also (or at least they did last year when we were there...they were up on stage singing and dancing

You need to load them on to an internet "holding" site - a lot of people apparently use Photobucket ...

... and then you can insert them into your DIS posts using the "mountain" button in the tool bar ... where you insert the URL of the photo ...

Will Shutterfly work in lieu of Photobucket as a "holding" site?

Traveling with family (our 1st GG). Right now we're planning on a late lunch at Tony's, followed by a break at the hotel. Planning to be back in time to attend the 1st (7pm?) 'TTNBC show in Tomorrowland.

Any idea when & where the meet will take place?

Unfortunately, Shutterfly doesn't work (which would make my DISing a lot easier ...! )

At this point - until the MVMCP schedule comes out - the topic is where and how to DIS Meet ... we'll deal with when in the future ...

So - any other ideas besides in front of Cindy's Castle?

Maybe:

At cosmic Rays
At aloha aisle (we can all have a dole whip)
At the dance party in Fantasyland

or maybe

you could do a poll and see where is everyone's favorite attraction and we can all meet there and all get on a ride together.

Hope none of you minded being "booed" in my PMs today. Halloween is 1 month away, but our family is getting into the holiday spirit. Thought I'd pass on a little fun to y'all.

Re where to meet: After reading the last post, I think Aloha Isle would be a good spot (I'll use any excuse to get a Dole Whip....). Guess it depends how many people are expected.

Re how to meet: I've never been to one so will defer to others recommendations.

I think Aloha Isle sounds good. One of my food missions is to get a Dole Whip this trip. I don't know how I have missed it in past trips.

It may all depend on the schedule and where everyone is when we want to meet.

I would like to go to the show at 7pm and the parade at 10:30pm. (I am going by the 2007 schedule) I am guessing that parade is less crowded than the earlier one.

BTW ONLY 68 days to go!

originally was planning to do the 7th... but since I got an extension for my days changed it for the 9th... I am In !!! This would be my 1st MVMCP !!!!

We are landing at MCO about 1:30pm, I think. We are staying offsite at a timeshare so we are renting a car. My dream one day is to stay on property. I think we miss out on a lot of stuff staying where we do.

We are planning on DTD our first day and eating at TRex if it is open. We will see. They are supposed to open Oct 14th.

Not sure about a photopass there, but those guys are usually all over. I'll try to find out!

We are eating at 6pm at LLT--later than we wanted so we'll have to go to the 8pm Mickey's Night Before Christmas instead of the 7pm.

This will be our third MVMCP but we got rained out of one.

Sorry, but no pictures. Just look for three Pooh-sized older women acting like the kids we really are inside.

I dont think you miss alot by staying offsite.. the only major thing you dont get to do is the EMH and if you are driving.. you are already ahead of the game since you dont have to stay inline for buses and stuff...

just my 2 cents....

I have never done MVMCP... so not sure how it works.. but during MNSSHP a great Meet and Greet spots are by the Carousel of Progress... then rides the Buzz or go to Laugh Floor.... also the entrance of Toon Town... yes with Photopass Peeps... and also by POTC nice roomy area with a ride that can accomodate alot.. and all this spots have big iconic backgrounds great for Group pictures...
