Just an FYI to anyone who wants to subscribe to this thread to get an email whenever more info is posted: Just above the first post are some drop downs. Click on "Thread Tools", then "Subscribe to this thread". When that page loads, click "OK". Now you're subscribed! And the best part is that it saves the server having to email everyone who has already subscribed, unlike when you post an actual reply.

I was just thinking today that we should start seeing these very soon as we have had them in hand before the member meetings.

JimC-
What does CAGR stand for in your percentages?

If I have this right
BWV is $5.0402
Operating $3.3948
Reserves $0.7001
Taxes $0.9453

We didn't get either of ours yet (OKW or AKV). Hopefully today, because we leave for the "world" on Sunday!

we always get information from DVC real late.

Mail in OH must be reallly slow :earboy2:

...JimC-

Compound Average Growth Rate -- it is the average rate of increase since year of inception for that particular resort. One need be careful comparing across resorts because the resorts have vastly different ages.

My question is if these are all figured and the mailing has started why doesn't it show up on line under my dues. Or am I asking to much out of the Disney computer system again.

Because these are PROPOSED/anticipated dues notices. The official dues are determined/passed at the annual meetings.

The dues will not typically show up until very late December. They are just sending out the budgets. From my understanding the budgets still need to be passed at the meeting even though we have no say. Once they are passed it takes awhile for the information to make it into the computer system.

As Doctor P and Plutofan noted, these are the proposed budget notices and notice of the annual meeting as required by the POS.

On December 4, the budget proposals will be voted upon by the board (and passed). The "real" annual billing statements will be sent out at the end of the year and due on January 15, 2008 - late fees apply after February 15, 2008 unless monthly debit is in place.

There could still be changes in the actual dues owed related to the property taxes actually paid for 2007. If the actual taxes were different than the estimated taxes an adjustment will be also be noted on the statement sent in late December. For monthly debits, this is adjusted with the January payment.

In past years the estimated tax has been higher some years and lower in others. Some years even saw a decrease in fees from the prior year - due in part to an overestimation of the Orange County taxes.
