There is no need to read though the following pages of this thread as the first page has all current updates.

If someone comes across a new item not shown, please post & I will add it.

Hello Everyone!! This is an awesome thread and I am so excited to use it for our trip this September. I just had a question that may sound stupid...but is there a reason that some resorts have more approved snacks on the DDP than others or is that how it happened to fall? We are staying at CBR and I am thinking that the best thing will be to pick up snacks in the parks and bring them back with us.....?

Again, thanks so much for compiling this great list and I am loving being a part of the board!princess:

I think it's just that not as many people have reported back what snack options were available at the resort. In most cases, if the resort has a food court...there's going to be tons of snack options available. However, if you see something in the parks that looks really good then by all means bring it back to the resort. That's what's great about the plan -- the flexibility.

I think my kids will kill each other with three sweets a day (plus breakfast sugars)....so I went through and made a cheat sheet of "places that have a snack that are slightly healthy". Also included frozen drinks and coffee, because it's nice to have something refreshing during the day.

YMMV... :)

We just returned a few days ago. At Mara, you can get drinks as a snack credit, as long as they aren't in the same case with the beers. By the way, do not get a frozen cappuccino from the France pastry store, it was nasty.

I agree, the frozen cappuccino was very nasty!

A few new ones to add since we just got back:

Bakery in France - lemon tart, chocolate chip cookie

BC Marketplace - key lime tart, cupcakes, mickey rice krispy treats

Polynesian - french fries

HTH

Can someone tell me whether or not you can still get a cup of Kona coffee @ Poly for a snack credit? I understand that there was a sushi bar at the same spot.
Thanks.

Don't you just think that the Mickey head rice krispy treats taste best?

You can get nachos and cheese as a snack credit at Pop Century.

Now if you add the other stuff it becomes a meal

We purchased the Dinning Plan for our trip this October. I think it's funny people say it's too much food when I am wondering if it will be enough. My daughter and I typically eat 3 meals a day-not 2. How do we know what desserts we can get with our counter service meal? I'm hoping to maybe get a muffin or fruit as a dessert that I could save for a breakfast.

My advice for breakfasts would be to bring things from home that are easy to pack. Then, get a refillable mug for coffe or tea in the morning. I always bring along the fixings for my morning mochas (using powdered milk), granola bars, juice boxes and Bakers Breakfast Cookies.

As far as what you can get for dessert. It varies by location but, generally, anything listed on the menu as a dessert qualifies.

Thanks for the advice. I will definitely bring as many snacks as I have room for in our luggage/carryons. I have a 3 year old who likes to eat small amounts throughout the day. I'm just hoping to find some healthier alternatives for dessert. Do they actually have a menu at counter service places that lists the desserts?

Usually on the counter service menus there are only a couple of dessert choices. There isn't a lot to choose from and not usually muffins etc. For breakfast & snack options you might try bringing instant oatmeal, granola bars, 100 calorie packs are great for the little snacks and you can stay in the ride line and not have to stand in line for a snack. Have a great time!

can you get the strawberry shortcake as a snack at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot? I checked page 1 but it didnt say it, unless it is a breafast pastry? ty

I always bring breakfast stuff, such as donut stix, honey buns granola bars, raisins etc. I also have shipped a box of snax and other stuff to the hotel ahead of time. This frees up suitcase space !!Remember you get i sc a day per personalso! The mugs are a great idea too!!Bring koolade packets WDW water is nasty!!Hope this helps

This may sound funny, but can I eat some of my husband's snack or counter service credits or are they specific to each person? I ask because he doesn't always needs to eat as much as I do. popcorn::
