This may sound funny, but can I use some of my husband's snack or counter service credits or are they specific to each person? I know it sounds like I eat a lot, but I'm one who eats small amounts throughout the day. (I'm also 6'1) I remembered him not eating dinner after having a big lunch last time we were there.

Anyone can use them. The are pooled by room. The only separation is if you have kids then they separate kids TS credits.

Thanks for the advice. I will definitely bring as many snacks as I have room for in our luggage/carryons. I have a 3 year old who likes to eat small amounts throughout the day. I'm just hoping to find some healthier alternatives for dessert. Do they actually have a menu at counter service places that lists the desserts?

Desserts are listed on the CS menus. Typical CS desserts are carrot cake, chocolate cake, brownies ...pre packaged so you can take them with you if you want to. Some unusual ones are apple cobbler at Columbia Harbor House (MK), frozen lemonade or key lime pie at Flame Tree BBQ (AK), lots of different choices at Sunshine Seasons (EP), strawberry or chocolate pudding w/ cake cups at ABC Commissary (DS). A lot of times for kids you can choose a chocolate chip cookie for dessert.

For healthier cs dessert options you can always pick the fruit that is offered to children with their meals.

I've been there a few times and I do not think it's included. I also checked the old confirmed list and it is not there either.

I just read the entire link about dining but still have a question...Two of us are going in Sept and have the dining plan. I know the counter service meals can be big and wondered if we can split a meal instead of each getting one and wasting food?Or do we each HAVE to order? I don't like to eat too much at a time as big meals tend to make me sleepy!

You can order as many, or as few, meals as you want. DD8, DM, and I share CS frequently. You can check the DDP threads for the best places to do this.

Can anyone help? Someone posted choc/coconut Mickey treat, but they didn't know what it was called and where you can get them. Does anyone know? They said it was like a mounds w/cocount filling but they did say it was shaped like a Mickey head.
