Lol yah this time at least. Well actually sarah is because she dared to be having a birthday on the day nicole has plans...lol...Teenagers are so dramatic about everything like she will just die if she can't go this weekend and it's all because of sarah.:rotfl:

You don't have to be the bad guy but I'm sure you still have to be the peacekeeper:) Hopefully everyone will have a great time this weekend anyway and all will be forgotten by Monday.

I am a music teacher so my vote is for Grease... Good songs, easy to costume, crowd and kid pleaser! You really can't go wrong there!

Thanks for all of the well wishes! Em had an appt. with a pediatric oprthalmologist today and besides being a bit far sighted and having astigmatism in her left eye, her eyes and optic nerves are very healthy! We are going to have to patch her right eye for 1 hour a day but in the big scheme of things that is no big deal!

Off to bed... Morning will come early and I have to be to school early for an awards breakfast!

Wow you guys have been chatty today!!:goodvibes Jen It sounds like you are doing everything you can for your little girl, and I just know they will find a way to help her. I just went back to work in Sept after being home for 13 years as a PT teaching asssitant in our schools district's pre-k building. We have many, many children with various diagnosis and teams of pt's, ot's, visual therapists, speech and language therapists, etc. We have 11 classrooms filled with typical and atypical children and what happens in our building each and every day is like a miracle. I honestly leave work everyday feeling so good about what we do. There is so much available for her:hug:

Michelle I'm glad your situation got figured out and you got out of being the bad guy "this" time. Lord knows their will be a next time:rolleyes1

Sounds like some fun Birthday activities coming up this weekend! Hope everyone has a great time.  :cool1:

Don't get me wrong, I like being involved, but, it makes me mad that it is the same parents running the committees and stuff - makes ya wonder why they don't get involved in their kids lives???

You expressed my feeling exactly....you see the same parents doing most of the work. I am amazed when there are only 15 - 20 parents at the PTA meetings.

This is why our PTA closed down. From a big high school there was about 6 teachers and 5 parents running everything, and it was so annoying when people would ring in to complain that the bingo had been cancelled, when we just didn't have enough people around to run it

Becky (my youngest) is a big Drama Queen, who is always saying things like 'I will just die if ...... ' she absolutely cracks me up, she is so funny with it :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks Suzanne, we're hoping to, but snow is due tomorrow, so I'm not sure if our plans to go away over the weekend will come off or not - fingers crossed that all will be well :thumbsup2

I think all girls are drama queens at that age. Boys are so much easier. Austin is so easy going. But i guess i can be a drama queen sometimes too...lol i guess i haven't grown up yet..

Alright -so, let's say we do Grease - the obvious choice is "greased lightning" - what do we do about the 'bad' words in there - obviously not appropriate for 8/9 year olds to sing.. LOL Is there a 'censored' version??? :cool1:

Mandy we are supposed to have a bad ice/snow storm tomorrow too. Angelina is having oral surgery to have two teeth pulled at 8:00am so I hope it's not too bad. I hope your snow doesn't keep you from your fun outing.:goodvibes

LOL, when it was my birthday the other week, I said to the girls "Now I'm 44, do you think I should start acting my age?" and thankfully they both said "No!!" :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I am only 41 on paper. In my head I'm 17, it's a little scary when I pass a mirror though and think wow how did a 17 year old end up looking like that??? I hope I never grow up:yay:

I am definitely going to grow old disgracefully too :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Kerry has had a lovely day so far. She's had lots of presents, including money, Euros (for when she goes to Cyprus with her friends family in June), clothes, cute bears and Becky got her a lovely Beauty & the Beast statue from WDW

She's having her High School Musical party tomorrow night :rotfl2: :rotfl2: which should be fun

Here's a couple of photos of her cake, balloons and presents

She has had the day off college with some of her friends and they're getting the train into Birmingham and visiting the Sealife Centre (which is like a huge aquarium)

We just booked this cruise today. We booked the 15 day Eastbound repositioning cruise in Jan. 2007 but will cancel it and take 2 four day cruises and spend several days in the parks now instead.

It will be me (Danielle), DH (Derek), DS then 11 (Keegan) and DS then 7 (Brennan).

It will be our 6th DCL trip and we are really looking forward to it, especially the 2 stops at CC.

Has anyone looked into getting a day room at Atlantis? We are thinking of doing that to get the wristbands. I see some really good rates come up from time to time that are much cheaper than booking it through Disney.
