2008, 24th/28th Aug - *Double Dipping with the Bahama Mamas* (Part 2)

Afternoon ladies, I have just sat down for the first time today..i am ready for a nap.

I decided today would be a good day to bring down the remaining suitcases from the attic...remember i am a huge overpacker..lol..anyway once i had them down i decided to start packing a few things and that led to sorting and bagging all the fe stuff.

Then i dropped austin off at his friends, nicole downtown (after i had to pick up matt of course) then i went grocery shopping. Then i returned a dress sarah decided she didn't like after all to kohls.

Then jeff decided he would have the stupid window guy come today to measure..ugh..i had to drag him all around the house measuring every window...very annoying..then it was time to pick up austin. Sarah's neck is still a little stiff so she decided to stay home again today.

Now i am all done except for picking up matt and nicole and making dinner..wooohoo..

Mandy, Kerry looked like she had a great time in those pics. I bet you are glad she is back home even if it is with a suitcase of laundry...lol

Sandy, Sorry to hear it is raining there today..that stinks.

Laurie, Hope to see you at sailaway later..I miss my twin..

Danielle, You sound like u have a busy couple of days coming up..hope u have some fun too.

Jen, We haven't chatted in forever i am going on aim now..hope to see you there.

Wow, you've been busy Michele. I'm impressed that you've started packing and sorted out your FE stuff. Have you finished your FE shopping now ?

Sorry I've been scarce lately - busy as usual! I have been reading and need to catch up - but that might be a project for tomorrow!

Today we have a parade in town w/the school.. Of course I am co-chairing that - so I have to be there, and the weather is looking crappy AND it's "my" time of the month, so I have to walk in the heat, and possibly rain - so, this ought to be great! UGHHHHHHHHHHH We have to be there at 11, and we start walking at 12 - and we are done at 12:30 - THEN we'll have to find the car, which will probably be parked MILES away! Needless to say, I am NOT looking forward to this!

We are BBQing today - just having Ant's friend Brendan and his family and one of Carm's cousins and his wife, and maybe another group of friends that might come later. We live right by the high school, and they are having fireworks there tonight, so, we are hoping we are prime location -

So - I hit enter to go to the next line - and it posted the reply! UGHHHHHHHHH

Anyway - we are hoping they do the fireworks in the open field and we'll be able to see from our driveway!

Last night- was prep night, I cut all kinds of fruit, cut up chicken, veggies, cleaned the corn, made an apple cake (tastefully simple), this way this morning all I had to do was clean up a bit!

Sorry I disappeared at sailaway last night - the phone rang, and then I got sidetracked!!

Hope everyone has a great holiday - and tomorrow I'll will catch up w/the thread!!! (or later if I have some time!)

I'm absolutely knackered now. I dashed out to do my shopping, then I went to Natalies for a cuppa (cup of tea) and a natter (chat) I didn't stay too long, as I was really nervous about going to the dentist. It was lovely to see her, but she's off on holiday tonight for two weeks

At least all this nervousness for the dentist means I haven't eaten anything yet I couldn't eat before going, and now as my mouth is frozen I'm unable to eat anything (though I'm sure I'll make up for it over the weekend ). Thank goodness I don't have to go back for a while

Michele - Have fun at the beach, I'm so jealous, I wish I was coming with you

Laurie - I missed you last night, you vanished when I logged on I hope you have a lovely day

Good Morning my Bahama Mama Friends and Happy 4th of July!!!!

Well I have just come in from my 5miles with my friend and it looks as if it is going to be an absolutely beautiful day!!!! Personally 10 degrees hotter would be nice but hey it's sunny so I'll take it.

Mandy-glad you enjoyed your cuppa and natter, you must be knackered now Sydney loved her piano lesson and came right home and practiced. The woman is so nice and only had an opening because a family is moving away. She is just so sweet and really tries to make it fun.

Jen- have fun in the lake brrr Hey and just so you know I only was in the rose bushes because I tripped as I was nervous my bil was going to push me in the pool again with all my clothes on........AND I only peed my pants because I was holding it for so long because I didn't want to get up and get pushed in. None of it had anything to do with the slushies!!!!
