Welcome to our new cruisers!

I'm Danielle and will be cruising with my DH Derek, DS11 Keegan and DS7 Brennan.



I just got back from baseball about a half hour ago. I am sure that all you ladies are glued to Saturday Night Live with JBJ on it.


We had a much better day today. No bee stings , twisted ankles or broken car windows (one of the player's siblings got stung 2 times in the head yesterday and a mom twisted her ankle). Our boys won both of today's games, the first one by the mercy rule for having too many runs. It's too bad they didn't have those teams yesterday! The 2 teams they lost to yesterday are in the championship finals tomorrow. Our team ended up in 3rd place and are done now so we have a whole day tomorrow to ourselves!

We were going to get the rental and Enterprise only had small compact cars in stock until at least 11:30 so I borrowed my dad's Honda Pilot. They are in NC for the weekend and offered it to me on the phone last night, but I was worried about screwing something up in it (it's new). I decided to chance it so I could have an SUV and did just fine with no dings or dents.

Michele, we have a $50 deductable on our USAA car insurance and they will cover the cost of the window plus up to $450 for a rental. The dad of the boy who threw the ball that broke the window offered to pay but we declined. It was an accident. We have team insurance, but I haven't contacted the league about getting reimbursed.

Diane, I heard today that Birdsboro might not host the state championships now since they only have 1 field and there's 8 teams needing to play several games each. We may end up hosting it here in New Oxford since none of the other 7 state district champions want to host it. Nothing like waiting until the last minute. We did make reservations at the Country Inn and Suites just in case we end up in Birdsboro after all.

7 WEEKS!!!!!!

OK - so - 7 weeks, 2 pounds a week - that's 14 pounds..

Mandy - Kerry's trip pics were great!! Thanks for sharing! I am happy that you are all caught up w/the laundry as well!! Glad to hear that your next trip to the dentist is a long time away! That has to be a relief - I HATE the dentist!! UGHHHHHHHHHHHh

Mandy- I cannot wait to see Dr Who tonight. I watched last weeks before bed last night. I'll be sure to have my tissues handy. I keep trying to find the Graham Norton show w/ Catherine Tate but no one is sharing it online and it's not on You Tube. I'm sure I'll see it eventually.

Mark was sick in bed all day yesterday, Sarah got a rash and her elbow started to swell (she has 5th disease) and Emma not to be outdone is now coughing. I'll tell you this I HAVE HAD IT!I have lost my freaking patience with Dr.'s and sickness and hospitals! Enough already! Can I move in with you???! Pretty Please??! Men are so useless when they are sick... Like we have the luxury of laying in bed all day because we don't feel good!

I am hoping to be able to finish my project today if all goes well.. Sarah feels OK she just looks a mess... She can swim all she wants! I'll bring my project stuff outside and work on it while she is swimming.

Not sure what I am going to do - I am thinking weight watchers - I do like atkins, but no fruit allowed - so, WW, the Core plan, is similar to atkins (sort-of) w/fruit!

Oh I forgot to tell you about one of my neighbors that has been doing weight watchers. I haven't seen her all winter or spring and at the 4th of July party I couldn't believe how good she looked. She has lost 84 pounds on WW and is a shadow of her former self. Unbelievable, so I guess it must really work
