Go ahead! we are not doing it any more, eventually you run out of people who think it is funny! I am trying to come up with something my 7th grader can do as a service project, since she will be home schooling.

Yeah the casts are off, Now Becca has PT on top of gym but at least school is almost over!

Thanks for the kind words for Derek. His back is a bit sore and he says his head feels like he was in a spinny ride, but other than that he's ok. He's back at work.

We were at Brennan's last baseball game this evening until it down poured and the game was called. Keegan had a game last night. Tomorrow he has practice, Thursday he has practice, Friday a game, Saturday all star practice and a make up game. I wouldn't be surprised if they added a Sunday practice. At least Brennan's regular season games are done and he only has all stars twice a week until July. They will be out of school at noon on Thursday.

I was checking out the ding rates yesterday on Southwest and ended up booking a quick 4 day weekend getaway for Brennan and I to go to Star Wars Weekends. DVC didn't have any availability so I got in at Pop Century with a annual pass pin code. I haven't told him yet and may wait until we get to the airport on the morning of the 13th. We are coming back the 17th. We'll do Animal Kingdom for the parade and safari Friday afternoon (dinner at Tusker House) Hollywood Studios both Saturday and Sunday (meals at Hollywood and Vine and Prime Time Cafe) for the Star Wars stuff and MK on Monday (dinner at Liberty Tree). I think we will do Epcot on Tuesday before we have to be at the resort to catch the Magical Express. I got the dining plan since I know we'll be eating more than $50 a day worth of food and Brennan's still a child in Disney pricing.

I haven't been able to catch up on all the posts yet except what's on this page.

Diane, I'm glad to hear your daughter's got their casts off. Our church used to do the flamingos in Maryland as a fundraiser. The relay for life is really a great thing to do.

Michele, I hope you win big and have a great time.

Happy belated birthday to Tori

Veronica, I'm glad Emily's feeling better. I love to be outside in the nice weather too. Once the boys are out of school we are outside most of the time or at my parent's pool. You wouldn't believe how much sunscreen we go through!

Suzanne, I'm sorry you had to lose your mom so young. I'm glad that your walk went well for diabetes. I really hope there's a cure for both diabetes and cancer in our life time.

Jen, I hope you get some good rest! Congrats to Sarah!

Another quiet day today for me. The sun is shining, so I'm hoping to get the grass cut and sit out for a while. Other than that, I'm hoping to get to a nearby mall to do some Father's Day shopping and to pick up some more $$ to cover the tips on our Cruise

Well today is another lazy day. It's rainy and overcast. Maybe we won't have baseball tonight. A bunch of my FE stuff came yesterday I"ve started putting together my little bags. Only a few more things to get and then I'm done. Now I have to start working on sewing my actual FE. Wish me luck.

Hi Mandy,

It was definitely an impulsive decision thanks to Southwest's ding rate, but I'm thrilled to be going back for some magic. Brennan's going to love it and I would not be doing it if he wasn't such a huge Star Wars fan. They only offer Star Wars weekends on Fridays through Sundays in June. We've been the last 2 years and he's just been mesmorized by all of it, especially the parade with tons of Star Wars characters. I figure he will always remember it and before I know it he'll be an adult and not want to vacation with us anymore! I told Keegan about it and he said he would stay here and go to the beach or Hershey Park with Derek Sunday/Monday. I'm going to take Keegan alone in March. I know I'll miss having Keegan there, but it will be nice also to have Brennan on my own since we've never done anything together just the 2 of us except for Kindermusic.

I did make ADR's yesterday and surprisingley there were still several choices available. I think I may try to make my Hollywood and Vine lunch a bit later than the 12:10 I currently have because the parade is right before and will be clogging up the street. I also have Tusker House , Prime Time Cafe and Liberty Tree for dinners. The rest will be counter service meals wherever we end up.


Can anyone suggest a good building for Pop Century? I didn't think I'd be going back so soon and know I asked about it before for our post cruise stay, but I can't seem to find it.

Can anyone suggest a good building for Pop Century? I didn't think I'd be going back so soon and know I asked about it before for our post cruise stay, but I can't seem to find it.

I think Brennan's going to have a fab time, and it'll be nice to have some one to one time with him.

Our fave building at the Pop Century is the 90's. It's a bit of a walk to the food court, but it's nice and quiet and we love the computer pool too

I saw it from the bus in April on the way to AKL (it was our first stop on the Magical Express) but it was getting dark and I really couldn't tell. I guess I'll hope for a room close to a bus stop. Do they share park busses with any other resort? We'll probably get to the parks for openings and may come back for an afternoon rest/pool time. At least the weather doesn't look crazy hot.

It was a real good thing I booked the flights yesterday because the one coming home jumped from $54 to $138 today!

I'd say that from the 90's building, it's a 5 minute walk to the food court and we could cut across the car park to the bus stops too. No, you don't share buses with other resorts (that's the only thing I hate about the All Star Resorts). June's a good time to visit WDW, it isn't mega-hot
