Caribbean Beach tips - um... this might not be appropriate but the ducks by the lake are REALLY easy to catch with a bit of food. Just grab them by the legs and cuddle away. lol Alana was 5... she wanted to pet one. so.... well... what's a mother to do?

Are you staying at AKL before or after the Cruise ? Staying at WDW before Cruise. Plan to visit Epcot mainly. Missed it last time. I suppose we'll do Animal Kingdom as well... it would just seem WRONG not to bein we're staying at the Lodge. ha ha

Any suggestions for stuff other than Epcot anyway? I mean other than the Magical Kingdom/Disneyland? We've been there and to the one in Paris and I'm a walking CA Disneyland map.

I hope some of you have adorable, sweet 10-11 year old boys.. cuz Alana will be sure to knock their socks off. She's a beaut. hee hee And she'll wanna know about any girls her age as well... it would be nice if all us mom's could get the kids busy and go to Palo for a dinner or something... maybe a spa? oooh I'm just FULL of ideas!! Alana thinks mom is the funnest. Mom needs a bit of space at times.

I'm Danielle and I'm sailing with my DH Derek, DS11 Keegan and DS7 Brennan.

Jen, that's great news about Em getting to see more specialists. I was so pleased that Hopkins had a panel of a couple dozen doctors to look at Keegan's case. They still do not have an official diagnosis, but have ruled out 4 (Leukemia, lymphoma, mediastinal mass and bronchogenic cyst). They just label it as a chest tumor on his CT referrals. I guess unless they do surgery to remove the remnants, they may never know what exactly it is. He may be in a medical journal it's so rare.

Mandy, thanks for the further information on Pop Century. I'm looking forward to trying out a new resort. Do you know if they have refrigerators or hair dryers?

It's really raining hard outside and we have tornado warnings. Poor Maggie (my beagle) was under the guest bed hiding and just jumped on top and put her head behind a pillow. Derek would freak if he saw her on the bed! I had to take a picture:

Hi Danielle, no the Pop doesn't have refrigerators, but you can hire them for about $10 a night (we usually buy a cheap cooler from Wal-Mart and fill it daily with ice) and yes they do have hairdryers in the room

Aww, your dog is so cute, my old dog hated storms too, she'd hide under anything to get away from the noise

What is everyone up to this evening ? My girls have gone to the cinema to see Sex and the City, so we're just chilling in front of the TV

Last cruise Alana and I had a BLAST playing the Trivia game... but we only did one and we WON! THIS cruise we're gonna try and hit them ALL! Wheeeeeeeeeee!!

Is there anyone else who is a Disney Trivia wiz who'd like to team up with us? Disney trivia is the ONLY trivia I'm interested in or manage to remember.

We got a cool medal and there may have been other prizes as well.. but the most fun was just bein able to answer the questions correctly.

Let me know if you and/or your kids are interested in teamin up!

Well today is another lazy day. It's rainy and overcast. Maybe we won't have baseball tonight. A bunch of my FE stuff came yesterday I"ve started putting together my little bags. Only a few more things to get and then I'm done. Now I have to start working on sewing my actual FE. Wish me luck.

Hey woman! I've missed chatting with you!

Hi Mandy,

It was definitely an impulsive decision thanks to Southwest's ding rate, but I'm thrilled to be going back for some magic. Brennan's going to love it and I would not be doing it if he wasn't such a huge Star Wars fan. They only offer Star Wars weekends on Fridays through Sundays in June. We've been the last 2 years and he's just been mesmorized by all of it, especially the parade with tons of Star Wars characters. I figure he will always remember it and before I know it he'll be an adult and not want to vacation with us anymore! I told Keegan about it and he said he would stay here and go to the beach or Hershey Park with Derek Sunday/Monday. I'm going to take Keegan alone in March. I know I'll miss having Keegan there, but it will be nice also to have Brennan on my own since we've never done anything together just the 2 of us except for Kindermusic.

I did make ADR's yesterday and surprisingley there were still several choices available. I think I may try to make my Hollywood and Vine lunch a bit later than the 12:10 I currently have because the parade is right before and will be clogging up the street. I also have Tusker House , Prime Time Cafe and Liberty Tree for dinners. The rest will be counter service meals wherever we end up.


Can anyone suggest a good building for Pop Century? I didn't think I'd be going back so soon and know I asked about it before for our post cruise stay, but I can't seem to find it.

I've stayed in the 70's and the 90's and they were both AWESOME!! Close to everything!

I'm Jen and will be traveling with my Husband , Mark, and Daughters Sarah (7) and Emma (2)! WE can't wait!

Well we finalized the invite for the party, and I printed them out....I also have realized that I am going to be stuck being the center of attention and that the party is more for his mother to show off then for us. We are inviting 10 friends and the rest is family we have 160 on the list (50 of which is my family and the 10 friends) the rest is his family which is fine but then she tells me she needs more invites i said well you will have about 20 extra and she said she needed more. I'm like the room can't hold that many people and I hate being center of attention which is why we decided to get married on the cruise. But she's paying for it so I really can't say anything I guess. I've been having anxiety attacks about the amount of people and having to stand out and be center of attention. Then I think of my wedding and the rest of my life with the greatest man I have ever known so I guess we aren't paying for the party and we are going to get lots of gifts so I guess it will all work out.

Oh on another note we got our first wedding gifts yesterday (I got all new bathroom stuff) so we opened it and put it back into the box and it will go into the attic till the wedding itself lol....

And guess who we saw there?

So the kids seemed to have fun..nicole even smiled once or twice... jeff lost 200 and i won 320 so that wasn't to bad. I have yet to go to sleep.
We ate dinner ,took turns gambling and watching the kids then i went down at 1 and gambled till 6am then we had breakfast..so i am pretty tired and i am heading to bed. I will reply to everyones posts tomorrow.

Welcome aboard! My family also won at trivia on our last cruise. We felt the stuff they did was too easy so she pulled out one that she said they stopped usin because no on ever knew the answers. We got 18 out of 20! Prizes sucked though, I think we got 2 plastic ups and a golf hand towel!

We are traveling with myself (45) DH (46), DD 16, DD12 1/2 ( gymnast), DD 8, SIL (42) single, PIL ~70.

We are signed up to snorkle, jet ski and parasail. I am looking for some one to snorkle with on Nassau day.
