Foodshopping is ALMOST as good as being stranded in the house w/the AC guys! LOL

I only took 2 pics - and they came out crappy - I was too busy helping w/the gifts and stuff - but, I'll see if someone has some good ones to send me!

I am 'working' from home today - trapped in the kitchen w/the pets! As usual - now I am getting bored - anyone up for a phone chat! LOL

Little house is on - gotta turn on the TV! That'll keep me busy for the next two hours! LOL

The AC fools are supposed to be here for about 4 or 5 hours - so, hopefully they'll be done and I can hit the BIG sale at bath and body works (wallflowers 5 bucks and I need refills) - and Target for Tori's bathing suit!

Wow, were you all chatty the last few days! I will have to read through them sometime tomorrow. I've got another crazy day ahead of me. We had an awesome time at my sister's party on Saturday. Yesterday we did a wine tour at the resort we were staying at (Renault) and went back to my sister's house for a quick swim and lunch before heading home.

Today I had to go grocery shopping first thing since I have been so busy to get anything other than milk this past week. On the way home Derek called to let me know he wasn't seriously hurt, but some idiot slammed into him in his police car in an intersection, totaling it. I'm sure he's going to be hurting tonight. He said he did a few 360's and the car's chassis was broken in half. I'm so thankful he is not hurt badly.

I've got a lot to to at work this afternoon since we added 2 new employees and I received their benefit enrollment forms. I also have to do some contract spreadsheet totals for May.

Tonight Keegan has a double header plus has to finish an inning and a half from a game they had to stop from darkness. It's going to be a long night. Brennan's first (and probably last) play off game is tomorrow night.

Our meals was good last night. I always enjoy chatting with my mother-in-law, she's really a great person, and any chance we get to see Christopher's grandfather we treasure. He has so many great stories to share.

Well i am back and cristina's nails look gross..lmao..she asked for a design and the girl completely screwed it up. She even asked cris if she liked it and she told her yes..lol..i looked at them and was like have her redo them and she said she didn't want to hurt her feelings...So she paid extra for nails she hates . She is going to change the color tonight. so stupid. I have no problem telling them when it looks like crap. She is to nice.

Then for lunch her omlette was wrong and she kept that too..
I told her it just wasn't her day. Mine look good...lol..and my pancakes were perfect.

Danielle glad to hear your husband is o.k. how scary.

Laurie,Hopefully we will catch up tonight on aim. I will be back around 9:30 tonight.

I love your pictures from your event. It looks like a really wonderful and uplifting experience. I lost my mom to breast cancer when she was 44 years old and I was 22. I would love to get involved in something like that here. I'm sure it made an impression on you that you will never forget. Thank-you for sharing it with all of us

That must have been so hard losing your mom so young. I know it is so difficult to lose a parent at any age. You should see if there is a Relay in your area it is such a touching experience.

Hi everyone.
Well not much else going on in my neck of the woods. The cruise ships keep coming and going and the tourists keep standing in the middle of the road looking at the wildlife in the rain. Although I felt sorry for the cruise ship passengers this week. It's been storming pretty bad out there, even the fishing boats came in early because it was so bad that I'm sure there were a few green tourists walking around

Good to see you around again! I am possibly looking into an Alaska cruise for next year (or 2010 depending on my budget) so I will be one of those crazy tourists. Which port do you live near?

We got an invitation to our School's academic breakfast on Friday! Sarah is getting an award! She will be so excited! Friday is also her field day so I have taken the day off to watch.

I spent this morning outside with the kids..it was such a nice day that no one wanted to be in the house. Once Bryan got off to school I had to take the car for oil change and inspection (although it was nice since I got to sit in the waiting room and actually read!). Emily is feeling much better- she is almost back to normal - thanks to everyone for asking.

If you have an opportunity to go to a Relay for Life or actually be on a team, it is really a great experience. Right now we have 2 seniors that are fighting very serious cancer, the one is just 17 and has stage IV overian cancer. Then there is a boy that graduated 2 years ago that has brain cancer. I was not able to do Relay this year, but for the last 2 years we were called team zookeepers and we put flamingos in people's yards with signs that said "you've Been FLOCKED!" and they had to pay to have the zookeepers come and remove them and relocate them to someone else's yard. We even had insurance you could buy called AFLOCK that kept them out of your yard. They came with this poem.

Mandy i have been running around packing and doing last minute stuff for tonight. Of course jeff is no where to be found he decided today would be a good time to get the ignition fixed on his work truck... as usual i will do everything. He does this everytime we are going away.

I have like 10 minutes online while my toenails are drying...lol.. then i am off to my moms to let her stupid dogs out since she is away.

Laurie, I was on aim this morning as we discussed and you were missing .

Nicole is still moping about going tonight. I thnk jeff is going to kill her if she doesn't knock it off.

Austin has asked me like 12 times what time are we leaving and how come we are only staying 1 night. He is very excited..sarah is also bugging me but she wants to know where she is sleeping...she doesn't want to share a bed with nicole...
