2007 Packages?

Hi Everyone,
I am new to all this, so please have patience with me. I will be going to WDW January 2nd of 2007 with my DH, DS's 18, 22, 25. This will be our first trip. (Been to DL almost every year.) We booked two rooms at POP thru AAA. Disney advised our AAA TA to just book our rooms now and wait for the packages to come out end of July to purchase tickets and airfair (which will be alot from California.) What exactly am I hoping for in the packages?

if you search the boards there are tons of threads from people waiting for the 2007 packages to come out. no one really knows if it will stay the same (MYW) or if they will cahnge/if dining will change etc. one thing is for sure, price will probably go up!

Basic Package as of 5 mins ago when I hung up with them is still the only thing that can be booked. She said it will be mid september before they release the packages. She said they are trying to make things perfect and are still considering things guests have told them they wanted back, or did not like to see what changes should be made. The dining plan will still be there she told me cause guests have said they want that brought back, but as to how much or what she does not know. She said she did not know if prices would increase but she did not think they were she acted like there maybe a chance it may go down who knows though. I was told the week of july 4th that packages would be out, then it was any min now, then august, now not until mid september.
