Any have fun weekend plans? I'm afraid mine aren't that fun. Cleaning the house, a memorial service to go to this afternoon, and tomorrow some paperwork from work. Fun.

Geez Mary and OM gosh - I'm gonna sleep all day. Had g/D yesterday and last night and I am one tired puppy today !!!!!

I don't even feel like eating anything - it'll take too much energy.

Afternoon all,

I did laundry, grocery shopping and spent a few hours at the beach. Now I am going to float for a while, then off to church and dinner.

We had some excitement here last night. A bear!!!!! My oldest woke us all up at 3 am to see the bear in the front yard!!! We live in Florida, no where near any woods. He did make a mess, garbage cans all over the place. It's over 100 degrees here so it really smells good. The rest of us didn't see him.

It's a nice day here at the Jersey Shore just off of Long beach Island.I mowed the 2 acres of grass around my house and did other yard work.It would be a good beach day but dealing with the bennies stinks.we cant wait until the summer is over and the bennies go home.

Half fun - half not over here.


Fun: Getting ready for a business trip to Colorado next week.

Not Fun: Doing the laundry to get ready for the trip


Fun: Helping the kids get their backpacks and school supplies all ready for back to school

Not Fun: Going through all the school uniforms, weeding out stuff too small or too worn to be handed down to our youngest. How did these boys get so big so fast!


Fun: Finishing up the plans for our family WDW/Cruise trip set for the 8/28! (Yes, we are going on cruise before the DVC one!)

ack! That would have scared the bejesus out of me. Did it just saunter off on it's own eventually or did you have to scare it off? Glad to hear it was onyl a bit o garbage mess and nothing worse.

When we lived in Florida we had assorted critters come around but never a bear! The scariest was the big nasty snake that had decided to take up residence in out backyard. The most amusing was the crab that crawled out of the lumber we ordered when we were building our fence.

It was a very warm day in MI, 91 here in the city where I live.

We went over to the lakeshore for the annual Blueberry festival and it was cooler, although it sure felt very hot still.

Tomorrow I get to do the cleaning and laundry job.

Beautiful Saturday here in Bergen County - much better than all the rain that was here yesterday!
Went to soccer practice with DD, managed to get a pedicure ,
Soooo excited - booked a big family vacation to Dominican Republic 10 days after we get back from member cruise 2007! I might as well not unpack!!

2 summers ago there was a bear outside of the WalMart about a mile from our house. It was Father's Day, so I supposed he was doing his last minute shopping.

He just wandered off.

We can't wait for the tourists to leave also. Except I work for a resort so I can't complain out loud, since they are my paycheck!!! The thermometer in my car said 101!! Ugh It needs to brake soon.

My kids go back to college next week, So we have a lot of packing to get done.

Good morning everyone! Well yesterday was a bit of a draining day for me with the memorial service. It was for the 24 year old son of the HR director where I work. We are a small company (a little over 100 people) and I've been there for 10 years. I was amazed at the number of people who came for this including many ex employees. The service itself was about 45 mnutes but then they asked that those who wanted to pay respects to the family should walk up starting from the back and the overflow room. Well it was almost 45 minutes until my row was able to get up - seems that they not only filled the room we were in but another full room as well and still had standing room. It was wonderful for the family to see I'm sure.

Today is catch up day with laundry, bills and other paperwork.
