Just a quick thought, Because the member cruise is not making a port call in a foriegn port, will we need to go through the same customs procedures upon arrival at Port Canaveral?

Yes we will because we will be in a foreign port twice - Castaway Cay is one of the islands of the Bahamas.

Thanks Mary, Had a very nice day. Just hung by the pool. Moms floated men cooked and brought us drinks!!! 1/2 pina colada & 1/2 strawberry daquari!!!! Yum.

just checking in to say that I hope all the Mothers had a very nice MOTHERS DAY. Our weather in Ft. Lauderdale was overcast and smokey with the fires out West - I'm on the East end of town, so it wasn't too - too bad.

Nothing super going on to a big extent. Getting ready to go on a Disney cruise next week with some friends that I met on the Member cruise in 2005. There will be 12 of us. Then one of their sons is getting married in Tampa on the 27th and I am going to Officiate the wedding on the beach. Should be lots of fun.

Then I come home and leaving for Hawaii for 3 weeks to visit my DIL and g/children. We're going to Island hop for two weekends and just do whatever we feel like the rest of the time. We'll be on Waikiki Beach most of the time.

Sounds like you have a great line up of vacations. Have a wonderful time. We are getting some of the smoke also and it's hours away. I hope and pray we get some rain soon.

Thanks for all the info. We are staying Sat and Sun at Shutters on the Beach. We got it through DVC. I can't wait to see Disneyland.

I am completely thrilled, Never mind getting on the ship now finding this. All I have to do is figure out how this all works. This will be only our second cruise 1st 10 years ago, 1st Disney Cruise. We are celebrating our Bdays who better to do that with then DVC members. After reading this I am out of this world can not wait. Just my son and I just the way we like it.... I am staying at the Boardwalk before and Saratoga after. Please help keep me informed.
