2006 rates?

Based on the past any ideas as to when 2006 rates and dates will come out?

I am watching to move a reservation to January 2006. I have read that rates typically come out around 18 months in advance. So, I am hoping they open up the beginning of 2006 very soon.

In 2002, the DCL itineraries for the first half of 2004 were released on June 17. And, if I recall correctly, the DCL itineraries for the second half of 2004 were released in late 2002.

If the timing for 2006 is similar, you can expect DCL itineraries for the first half of 2006 to be available soon, and itineraries for the second half of 2006 to be available before the end of the year.

Of course, it may be different. The Disney Magic Southern California itineraries for summer 2005 were delayed until about two months ago to coincide with the Disneyland media event.

You are correct. Second half of 2004 were released on December 30, 2002.

we are wondering this too as we were hopeing to cruise on the magic in the summer of 05 but now she will be in california so we have to wait to the summer of 06 we'd like to make our plans as soon as we can

This is only a guess, but I think there's at least an 80% chance the Disney Magic will return to Southern California in summer 2006.

The Disney Magic's bookings for summer 2005 have been very strong, undoubtedly yielding more revenue per passenger than if the ship had stayed in Florida for summer 2005. And, the Happiest Celebration on Earth (Disneyland's 50th Anniversary) will run through summer 2006.

We booked our March 2005 cruise on Oct 1, 2003. This was the first day that the first part of 2005 was opened for booking.

When I was checking on the status 2006 ressies on the DCL site, I was able to bring up 1-2006 today. I didn't check much farther into it, but at least it had it up.

I keep seeing January 2006 listed hoping that it has expanded later into the month since we are looking to book January 28, 2006. Anyway, right now the NYE cruise that runs December 31 - January 7 is the only available date for January 2006.

Count on the rate being at least an arm and a leg! But what the heck, book early, save, save, SAVE then have the time of your life!
