2006 package pricing on thursday!!

Well apparently there online system doesn't get the information at the same time as central reservations does because I just went on again and got:

"To book your package online, your arrival date must be on or before December 29, 2005. Please call us if you require an arrival date after that."

I wish they would make up there minds if there are going to release packages now or not.

I received this in a newsletter this week.

This week's issue of D-Mail (June 28) stated that Walt Disney Travel Company 2006 Magic Your Way packages would be available for sale beginning Thursday, June 30. Unfortunately, the timing has been changed to early July for bookings via www.disneytravelagents.com, Galileo® LeisureShopper, Sabre® Tour Guide and Worldspan® Tour Source. However, these packages are now available by calling the Disney Reservation Center.

Once someone has called CRO today re: 2006 packages, would you mind posting the particulars of the 2006 packages being offered? I don't mean price but the package components.
Thank you
Suzy V.

Yes, please - I heard someone tell me that they heard that something similar to the Platinum plan would be back.

safetymom,

Does this mean that we won't beable to book online either until early July?

Can someone please give me the number to call and check on the packages? TIA!

Okay, now im confused. I called 1-407-934-7639 (1-407-WDISNEY) and was able to book a package (room, tickets, dining) for May of 2006. They didn't mention anything as far as "extras" go. Were they supposed to? :confused3

would you mind telling us what they quoted you as the price for dining?

$538.24 for 2 adults 8 days dining. Does this sound about right? When I break it down, it comes out to $67.28 per day for the 2 of us.

Let me ask you this......do they consider the day you check out as a "dining day"? Maybe I misunderstood her. If its not, than that would make a little more sense. Anyone know?

Thanks for the number, I'm at work but I am going to have to go take a break to make my call soon... I can't wait to find out the pricing.

Rootskate- I think that sounds about right.

it goes by the number of NIGHTS you're staying. so if you have a 7 night reservation, you will get 7 days of dining. but you can use them up until midnight of you check-out date.

Soooo - what's the deal?
What are the *new* packages?
Anyone!?
I called and booked a package and I was told it was for Room, Tickets, and Dining plan. Thats it. She didn't mention anything "extra". Hmm...

Just got an email from Magicial Journeys quoting me a price of $1464 for 6 nights at a value, 6 day park hopper passes and the dining package.

Do they usually quote about the same as WDW offers?
Anyone have any experience with them?
