Wow it took alot longer than I thought for a sell out! I'm still doing the happy dance that all of us made it thru. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Me too. I was so nervous and yet excited this morning. Glad we don't have to do that every time we make a reservation! Annmarie

I'm thinking that it took longer because both the point value and cash value went up so much. That along with all the phone issues, and the fact that they spent more time on each call going through the specifics of the cruise probably caused it to take the 7 1/2 hours to sell out.

We're in....Room 7628. Can't wait!!! I thought I wasn't going to get through either, but was able to get on hold for an hour then get to a CM. I was going back and forth between going with a cat 11 or cat 7, but decided to go for it and get the room with the Veranda.

We are in 7622 for SSMC06 so we will be neighbors. We were in a category 7 (room 6642) last member cruise and liked having the verandah and location of the cabins.

It was a bit confusing this morning with being on hold and not hearing anything but there was no way that I was going to hang up. DH kept trying to get through on the other phone just in case my line went dead. I was on and off the phone before 9:25 so tht wasn't too bad. Annmarie

Woo Hoo - Sold out and we all made it in.

This morning was scary with that dead air. I was in a panic. Chat really helped. It was great fun. Can't believe we had 38 people in the room at one point.

Annmarie did you call the 800 # or the 407#? The 407# was a straight tru at 9:00 AM.I think alot of us ended up useing the 407#.

I was using the 800 number and Tom was using the 407. He got a busy signal and I got right in at 9AM! I told Tom to keep calling just in case I got disconnected but got right through (after the long waits of silence on hold of course). Annmarie

Mark and I both called the 407 number and got the dead air. We both held on until we got a live person which was me and then he hung up. I tell you I couldn't have done it without all of you in chat!

I was just wondering. It seems like all the drops and long holds were on the 800#. :confused3 We all made it so maybe they will have it fixed by the next one. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I am looking forward to all the fun of the cruise. Also, I am hoping to have lots of fun getting ready here with all of our ship mates!

I still have my blinkies! I wonder if I will ever wear them? :rotfl2:

I've worn mine for 3 more cruises . Every ship we get on someone comes up ask about those blinkies. ;)

1--I am going alone --have late dining--what kind of table will they put me at ?
2--Where to stay in the Port night prior? Seems the Radisson has negative issues. I was looking at the Radisson because of the shuttle.
Is it much of a hassle to drive to the port from the hotel?
3--On the MC do they have "theme" nights like Pirate Night, etc?
Thanks

Shelia - stick around and get to know your fellow DIS'ers. Many of us on early seating are linking dining and maybe someone from late dining will step up to handle that linking. Linking will fellow DISers is the best!

We are staying at WDW the nights before. We've stayed at the Radisson in the past and had no problems. 2003 was the last time however so can't see how it is now.

Yes they do theme nights. We had pirate night on the last Member Cruise and they came up with a few special themes. We'll all have to pay a little closer attention to what DVC mails us this year!

Photo Gallery Update!Got some more info and some great new pictures. Stop on by and meet your fellow cruisers!

We always stay at the Raddison at the port.
DCL tries to put you at a table with people that our around your age.So usealy adults with adults...ect...
They do have pirates night.Last year they told us the themes the week befor the cruise. Hope this helps. :wave2:
