I think the time of year and the increased cost may be having an effect on speed of selling out. Oh well those of us who have been on one know how much fun it is.

I definitely think that is part of it. We heard a LOT of complaints on the boards about the cost. I think that deterred a lot of people from booking, even though the cost was justified since it was in a different booking season. When the points charts came out, they where right were I estimated that they would be.

Heck, we are even looking into a 4GB memory stick.

PCNation 4GB Memory Stick Pro (San Disk - we have some of this brand - never any problems) - $230 - free 3 day shipping via FedEx, no tax for FL, no handling - just $230!

Cheapest 2GB sticks were $120 + shipping.

We'll probablly wait until the spring / early summer to order - might be even cheaper then...

Just wanted to let you know that I tried the 800 number around 2 o'clock to see if I could get through to have my DH's name corrected, and it rang immediately. I was on hold for less than 10 minutes before a MS CM answered but the CM was on hold with DCL for about 20 minutes to make the correction. I tried to check my ressie , but DCL is having issues right now. I wonder why?

Photo Gallery UpdateYeah - we have updates already! Check out the photo gallery!

To answer a few questions I've received.

Pictures - please send them in .jpg if possible. I will size them down to approx. 640 x 480 (to save space on the site). I will also make the thumbnails.

Buttons - the buttons are our gift to you. There is no cost involved. It is so all the DISers can recognize each other. We ask that you wear them during the cruise. When you send your info tell us who you want buttons for. It is usually DIS name & real name (first only). If you want anything different let us know and we'll do what we can.

Mini-navigator - this will be a printed out sheet(s) that we will have in pdf format on the site a few days before the cruise and printed out at the DIS meet. It will list when the meets are, cabin numbers, etc. Kind a mini directory so you can get in touch with fellow cruisers.

Hi everyone. For those who don't know, my name is Cindy. I sailed on the SSMC05 and am very excited to be sailing again. In fact, we were able to book the same cabin as we had this year. Pretty cool. I think that was the biggest surprise to our DS11, that it was the same exact cabin.

For everyone who is interested and has EARLY seating for dinner, I am going to coordinate with DCL to link our reservations together so that we can hopefully be seated together and in close proximity to everyone else in the group.

I already have a list started of who has booked for early seating and wishes to be linked......

Please PM me the information. I don't need it all right now. In fact, if you would prefer, all I need to know is that you might be interested. Nothing is written in stone and is always open for change.

We have several months for us to develop friendships and decide where we think we'll fit in best. But, I just thought I would throw this information out there for anyone to read. I'll also be giving Mark & Mary something to add to their website.

I will post the list of early diners occassionally throughout the upcoming weeks/months. When I do, I'll add any new people to the list.

Are you forward or aft?

We were in 2104 and were closer to the aft elevators. We also used the stairs alot to work off all the goodies.

There's a laundry room on Deck 2 and we used the iron a couple of times, so it was real convenient.

I dont know I havent had time to look for my cabins. Been busy. I will have to check it out.
