Hi all,alikat99, got your PM, Took care of it (thanks) tried to PM you back and noticed that your PM box is full.......

You were right, I guess I thought since it wasn't a free number it was OK...

:jumping2:
I didn't get your PM, but I did send you another one. Didn't want you to think that I was bossy! I'm not, ask anyone!! I'm very non-confrontational. I think that Cindy calls me Switzerland!

Oh, Definately, Switzerland! If there's an issue that needs to be addressed between anyone, never ask Amy. ;)

Don't believe a word she says ohanafamily!! Amy thinks she is the boss of everyone and we just play along and let her believe what she wants! ;)

:earseek: :earseek: OMG - You are AWFUL!!! I am not the boss, you're the bossy one. Troublemaker!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

No, I actually wasn't thinking and Amy was right. I sent her a thank you but it came back because her imn box is full. I was just trying to be helpful.

I also try not to be bossy, but do let people know when they post something that they shouldn't I am notorious for telling teens not to post personal info here. One actually posted her full nme, city and state. I looked up her dad's phone number and PMed her with it asking it she really wanted anyone to be able to get thais number from her post. She changed the info very quickly...

Once again, Ms. Switzerland, Thanks for pointing out that to me, please clean out your PM in-box/Sent Items.

:jumping2:

My apologies if I sounded too bossy in my previous post, I mean if you don't want any more PM's, please by all means, fill it up more...

;););)

Thanks again...

Thanks! You weren't bossy at all!! I did clean up my inbox. I don't get that many PMs usually, but it's been an exceptionally busy PM time for me! :rotfl2:

Ok, guys, silly question here from a young DVC member and a first time cruiser who would kill to go on the SSMC2006. So, on the mailed-out postcard and on the SSMC website, it says you can use Disney's Visa, MC, or AMEX. Does this mean you can only use Disney's visa credit account, or can you use other Visa credit accounts? Have you guys used other Visa credit accounts in the past to pay for your SSMCs?
Thank you all very much!

They will take any Visa/Master card and Amex. They do not take Discover or Carte Blanche.

:jumping2:

Oops, I almost forgot,

They push the Disney Visa and Amex because they have deals with those companies.... It is a subtle image to get you to see the Disney Visa and like all advertizing, is part of the whole picture.

:jumping2:

Oh, yea!!! Thank you very much, ohana!!
I'm so excited now! :cool1:

Ok, one more question:
Are there other taxes or fees charged in addition to the posted rate? I know about gratuity and alcohol being additional on the cruise. But, are there other charges that need to be paid up front in addition to the cruise rate? Thanks!

Good reminder to all of us. :goodvibes

Some people just don't think, do they? There are even adults who are more than willing to post their address for the entire internet community to have. In the crazy world we live in, it's always better to error on the side of caution. One never knows who's out there "lurking".

I just have one other comment.....along the lines of being bossy. I just want to say that this is ALL of our cruise. We can all make it whatever it ends up being. Those of us who sailed on the SSMC05 had a wonderful time. We did what we wanted to do and used that thread to learn a lot about what to expect. It was our first cruise and had it not been a member cruise, I probably would have still be sitting here thinking we should try a cruise.....someday.

No one was in the "lead" or the "boss" on that thread. I certainly hope it stays that way on this thread/cruise. Sure, there will always be people who have sailed before and have more knowledge than others. Those of us who were "newbies" on the SSMC05 gained valuable knowledge from the seasoned veterans. I still don't feel as if I'm a seasoned cruiser, but I do have the experience of what the "05" cruise was like. I look forward to sharing that will all of our new cruise friends and continuing on with the friendships we formed on the "05" cruise.

I'll step down now and move on with my day. :wizard:

Well said, Cindy!!! It definitely is what you make it. Like Mary said too, some will only post once or twice, some will post occasionally, and you can count on a few of us to post several times a day. But, no matter what, we're all going on vacation to have fun and relax. We use the DIS to meet friends and find out things that we might not know.

Here is a great link to a thread on Trip Insurance... That being said they will not cover points, except for Travelguard. They are the only insurance company that will work with DVC points.

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=882735

Note: they will only give you back $5.00 a point Max, so you are not fully insured.....But They will sell you insurance...

Umm, Cindy and Amy... I beg to differ with you... On THIS THREAD, MARKRG and MARY ARE THE CO-BOSSES!!!!!

;););)

David,

I respectfully disagree. I agree with Cindy 100%. There are things that Mark and I do for the group. The web site, photo gallery, mini-navigator and buttons. We do these for the enjoyment of the whole group and not to take the lead. We do them because we enjoy doing them. We do them to encourage others to get to know each other. There are no bosses - only equals all working to have a good time.

Others have already volunteered to step up and take on things like linking dining, designing and producing shirts, etc.

My only suggestion for the group is that things that we are spending money on (like the shirts) should be a majority rules if we come up with multiple designs.

OK, now I have a question...

If we have 100 Dis-ers on the ship DO WE NEED 1 or 2 refillable mugs to pass around???:rotfl2:

(BTW, This is a joke. I always laugh at how upset people get about those refillable mugs)
