Glad you had a great trip, Mary & Mark.
How strange to run into someone you know in Hawaii. When we went, that same thing happened to us. My brother ran into a friend from school and my parents ran into our former next door neighbors. It truly is a small world when it comes down to it.
Long day around here. We were up bright and early to get Walker to his followup visit with the ear doctor. Our normal 5 minute appointment ended up taking well over an hour by the time we were finished. The good news is Walker doesn't have an ear infection at the moment. The not so good news is that not only is his hearing deminished on the left side but the doctor recommended they surgically close the perforation that's been there for a couple of years. So, it looks like Walker has yet another surgery on the horizon.
We ended up missing the tour of the surgical center for his April surgery so I'll have to see if we can reschedule that between now and then.
The three of us went out to breakfast at Omega in Niles -- the same restaurant that we went to last year with Mark, Mary, Tina & her girls and Curt & Karen. Weird to sit there and think about that breakfast which seems to be so long ago, yet it hasn't even been a year.
As soon as we got home, Cameron had some friends come over to work on merit badge stuff and I took Walker to play laser tag with a friend. Back home and I was forced to make a trip to Archivers to pick up some paper to work on Cameron's Boy Scout album.
The best news of the day is that I have 6 pages completed and now I'm on a roll. With any luck, I'll be finished this weekend.
We have Blue & Gold for Cub Scouts tomorrow but other than that, no other plans for the rest of the day so there is a great chance that it might actually be done. I've played with my Cricut today and my crop-a-dile, all thanks to my 7 year olds help.
Amazing how good Walker can be with his hands in figuring things out and teaching his old Mom how use these things.
