OOHHH!!! That sounds like alot of fun!!
I would so do something like that. I would probably hit 7 a day and have it done in a weekend knowing me. I could do all 14 in a day but why rush in a scrapbooking store!!

Ok, I'm back from my scrapbook hunt and boy what a great time!!! I hit 6 different stores before they all started to close. One was all the way down in Sarasota, so it took me almost an hour to just get there. Then, I made my way back north. It was a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to visiting more stores over the next week.

Diana - when you move to Bradenton there's a cool scrapbook store down there!!!

Did you find me a house while you were down there? 4BR 2 1/2 BA, with a lanai. The only thing I'm not flexible on is the lanai. We can live with 1BR and all sleep together, or even 1 bathroom, but I NEED the lanai!!!

We have a whole entire day in our May vacation for neighborhood seeking/house hunting!! I'll have to see where the scrapbook store is and consider my options based on it's location!

Good morning all!!! It's a mighty chilly day here in the Sunshine State, since we're surrounded by water, but most of the rest of the area was going to be below freezing for several hours last night.

Today I'm planning on doing some road-tripping!!! 14 scrapbook stores in the area are having a Tampa Bay Scrapbook Hunt for the next 10 days. You had to buy a bag for $5 from a participating LSS and then visit each store and purchase $5 or more and get a stamp in your "passport". Then, if you visit all 14, then there are big drawings for lots of fun stuff. Plus, each store is doing make-n-takes, giving away goodies, and 10% off, so I think that it'll be fun. I'm going to see how many I can visit today.

It's been a crazy month for me and I'm hoping for better things to come soon. Hard to believe, but we're on a countdown for Christopher's first birthday - 11 days and counting! Around here, we all need somthing positive to look forward to.

Good Morning ! I thought I would just stop in and say hi since I was up saving lives this morning.
I worked on my Fishing trip scrapbook yesterday. 13 pages completed in between calls!
8 hrs at the Fire Dept today and tomorrow then back on the bulance for 24 hrs on Weds! Oh the fun just never ends

I suspect they had lots of fun late into the night and posting on the DIS wasn't their priority can't say I'd blame them! Fun vs Posting on an Internet Message Board---I'd take fun with friends any second of the day!


Steve--13 pages in between calls! That's awesome! I spent part of yesterday sorting the stuff and the 225 pics I printed from SSMC06. Stacy and I are going to a crop on Friday night so hopefully I can get something done next weekend!! I did finish Ilene's CJ, though!

Looks like it was a very cold night in Florida last night too! Sure hope everyone is keeping warm down there. I'm sure there's warmer temps on the way there.
I hear we might have a heat wave of temps in the 30's this week.

I used winkflash for the 225, but I also got some pics printed through snapfish and I'm much happier with the quality of the snapfish ones. I'm not about to reprint 225 pics though. At the time there was a code for 100 free winkflash prints, then another time there was a 50 free print code, so it literally cost me like $3.00 for the 225 prints.

There's lots of codes out there, so never pay full price!
