Okay, back to this. I guess we'd need a picture of you and Robin to compare with.

David, I don't think that there is much that you could say here to offend anyone. Those are really cute baby pictures but I have no guess.

No snow yet but it is comming. They are guessing around 8 in here. They say it could snow more than an inch an hour. That is alot of snow. I really hope there is a snow day for the girls tomorrow. We all need a day off.

I know I'm south of you and I'd guess we have about 1" out there....maybe 1 1/2" so far. It's been steady for about 2 hours now.

Gary and the kids are out there shoveling round 1 now. :cold: :cold: :cold:

Me neither. It never fails, when we are out as a group, I always get asking if the kids are "all mine". Keep in mind, there are 7 of them ranging in age from 1 - 5. Is it even possible to birth 7 children in that short timeframe without any of them being twins? I've never sat down to think about it, but if they were all mine, I'd have no money to be walking around the mall shopping.

One of these days, I'm just going to smile and say "why, yes, thanks for asking". :teeth: :teeth: :rotfl2:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Make sure to take a picture! I would pay for the look you will get! :teeth:

Just got in.My youngest had to see a doctor for autisum today.Yes he's autistic and needs more testing.I guess all next year will be more testing.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
I know nothing about autism, but hope you get all the info and help you need.
My prayers will be with you

And, how long did it take you to apply it. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I'm not laughing at you, Julie, I'm laughing at myself. Diana also sent me the code today so I could do some shopping while the kids napped. It only took me an hour and a phone call to find out about that "apply" button next to where the code is entered.

But, finally, all is well. :flower:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: FUNNY!!!

Thanks for your prayes and good wishes for David.
he has been through so much, but everytime we go to St Judes we are reminded how blessed we are.
David has a great attitude.
He always says, somedays I get mad at my situation, but its better than the alternative, which is taking a dirt nap...

I have a fuuny stroy about a plush.
His mane was Whimsey and I think he and Snuffles are cousions(he was a Gund Mary)
Anyway, Whims belonged to youngest DS Jeremy.
Santa brought him one year form the store I worked at.
He was really, really inexpensive.
Well, Jerm slept with everynight and took him on all our trips.
On one of our trips to WDW from CT, he was forgotten in a hotel in SC
We had a 4 year old that cried and couldnt sleep for days.
We called and called the hotel to no avail.
I called Gund and they couldnt help, since Whims was discontined.
Finally one day Whims came home.
We put him on Jerms bed, he was at a play date.
He came home , saw him picked him and stared crying..
I'm so happy to see him.
Too bad Jeremy didnt stay young and cute.. LOL :rolleyes1

Hi everyone :wave2:

Late posting this, but I just got back from WDW late on Monday. We got a cabin for SSMC06! Cat 6, Deck 6 Cabin 6542! Requested late seating for dinner. It's me, DH and DD (who will have just turned 17).

There clearly was something going wrong with their phone system though. Since I was in WDW, I had DH and DD calling in that morning. They got on hold after about a 1/2 hour. When I called DH he had been on hold for a little over an hour.

I decided to try calling in myself. I got on hold right away and to a CM in about 15 minutes. Booked our cabin and was done in about 40 minutes. I called DH back to tell him and HE WAS STILL ON HOLD. So his total hold time was about 2 hours and he had been hearing music and the recording saying what he needed the whole time...no dead air.

Really made me kind of upset that the system clearly does NOT put callers in a queue based on the order in which their calls were received.

All that effort and time on DH's part just wasted. :sad2:

Well if everyones giving up their ages... I'm 34 and DH is 35.

I think that will get me up to speed now. :moped:

Good luck with all that. You hate when anything is out of sorts with your kids but when you know it's something that effects their whole life not just a short period of time that makes it harder. :lovestruc

I hope that came out right and you understand what I mean.

When I have a while I will post the story of how Nieceosaurus and Nephosaurus came into our life... They are the ones in my Signature with Stitch, and they come with us everywhere....

Oh well, Time to head home and make nice nice to DW.

Only by a couple of minutes, Diana. Strange night here last night -- nothing on the calendar -- are rarity. I had planned to take my Mom to see her sister in the hospital, but my aunt went home already so that didn't happen. I laid down on the bed to read a book for a while, the next thing I know, it's sometime in the middle of the night.

The thing with falling asleep early is the brain actually gets some rest. I had nightmares and tossed and turned all night long. Actually, I think I was dreaming that my MIL's house was haunted -- although it wasn't my MIL's house, but it was in my dream. These very unfriendly ghosts were living there. It really was strange and I know it scared the daylights out of me....but I can't remember now any more about it. I wonder where that came from?

That's it, no more early to sleep for me. :guilty:

Hopefully the snow will stay away. We're off to see Santa at the mall this morning. I'm betting all 3 of my 1 year olds scream their heads off when they have to sit on Santa's lap for the picture. Yep, I'm really mean and they have to sit there for a second to have their picture taken. But I always tell the person taking it to just take it, because I know they aren't going to stop. Then it's off to the fountain the throw pennies in. Another big highlight of the morning.

And, then I'll finish all my Christmas shopping since I'll be at the mall anyway. NOT!! With 7 kids, there is NO way I even think of going into a store. We leave early and hit McDonald's for lunch. Much better idea than shopping with them all. :cool1:

I hate nights like that. Hope tonight is a better night for you.

Hope the little trek to the mall turned out ok. More power to you on heading out with 7 children in tow. I don't think I could do it!

Hi Deb. Welcome to the group!! Yeah, another deck 6 person!! :cheer2:

I would be furious if I wasted two hours of wait time to get nowhere. You are not alone, there were others who posted the same type of story in chat that morning. Hopefully, everyone who wanted to get through was able to and got the categories they were aiming to get. :)

Debbie, did the hotel finally find him or did you find a replacement? I think that's awesome that he found his way back home. :cool1:

How scary Cindy! :earseek:

Can I sign up to come to Cindy's daycare? For me, not my kids. :rotfl2: God Bless You for taking 7 children anywhere, let alone the mall! I can handle my two, but some days barely! We did Breakfast with Santa on Sunday, the mall on Monday and the kid Christmas party is at the Y on Saturday...I think that's going to be it for Santa.

We watched the Polar Express last night with Emma. She loved it. She kept telling the kids to be careful and yelling oh, no when they were in danger! :confused3 I don't know where she gets this stuff.

Last night when I was watching the 11pm news they were calling for 1-3 inches tomorrow. When I got up the 5:30 news said 4-8. :confused3 How much snow do you think we'll really get? I'm actually looking forward to it, because I need a picture for Christmas cards and if it does snow, we'll suit the girls up and take some pictures outside! :cold:

Let's not talk about the snow.
I have to drive to work down the Northway in that *#@& and I always hate the first snow because you'd think the other people never saw the stuff before. Like "HELLO" you live in the Northeast you should be able to deal with this in your sleep especially since you see the stuff for 1/3 of the year!!

Hi we are going on the cruise too. I've been on three but this is the first member cruise. I'm confused how to read this board, any tips? I've been on and off DIS since 1999 and never really got the hang of how to view recent posts without wading through all the others. Looking forward to meeting more of you.

Stacy, only one of the kids tries to stray and that would be my own. :confused3

We did walk by a store selling baseball hats. That's all they had in there, nicely arranged on racks. The sales guy - a young guy - saw us coming and smiled. I asked him if he minded if we stopped in to check out some hats. He gave me a look of panic, I smiled back at him and said "I'm just kidding" and he let out a sigh of relief and said "I hoped so". It was cute. I couldn't imagine the "fun" the kids would have in there -- trying on all the different hats. At least the salesperson would have had something to keep him busy the rest of the day. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Ahhh, panic on our roads tonight. Everyone is out from work early -- and no one can get anywhere. Almost every one of my parents were late -- one even sent her SIL to pick up the child. It's not that the roads are that bad, it's just that everyone is in a panic.

Of course, that's easy for me to say.....I have 0 commute time. :teeth:

Don't feel too bad Diana I've been up since 4:30am. I've got the desk duty today so - I'm just now getting through the shift change paperwork and settling in answering the phone and waiting for walk-ins. (THIS is where YOUR tax dollars are going) :rolleyes1

Just rub it in that you are actually working!
I enjoy a change of pace sometimes. It's not always easy being a tax collector you know so sometimes doing something different helps break up the monoteny of seizing bank accts and garnishing wages :rotfl:
