Yeah, we got our documents today. They came by UPS. I thought I had read here they were being delivered via FedX but who cares, they are here. I too saw the notice about tipping and I am sure this was included in the cruise price when we booked. I even remember posting this question here a few weeks ago and the reply was to the effect that tipping was included...smjj

Good Morning everyone....Wow 27 pages to catch up on...Its the first time I'm able to log on since Monday night and the storms that rolled through the Chicago area...My house faired fine, we had a little bit of water come up over the foundation, and the basement floor was wet...but otherwise everything was ok...But Tims house was not so lucky...Hes in one of the areas that had a micro burst, and a reported touchdown of a tornado not too far away...his garage is at street level and took on at least 3" of water...the basement took on water over the foundation...Power lines were down on both ends of his street which made it impassable...Trees were down everywhere...one of his trees split and is hanging over the neighbors house...Lots of clean up...power and cable were out until early this mnorning...cable is still out, but atleast there is power...We carried out so many garbage cans full of wet things, but now the basement is emptied, and all we have left is the garage...So I'm off back to his house till work at 11am...I will try to catch up a little there. Hope everyone else is ok with the storms...

And if I may be presumptuous and speak for other Tigers fans: We're pretty proud of Justin Verlander. There's a reason many of the experts pick him to take the AL Rookie of the Year.

Well, no giclee here in St. Petersburg, and still no docs either. I haven't seen the UPS man, but maybe he just didn't have any deliveries on my street. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.

Tina, I'm glad that no one was hurt but it sounds like a big mess. We had big storms go through here last night and this morning. No damage here.

That is great news about Spirit having Coke products now!

Karen and Curt I'm sure the Tigers will come back and win tonight.

The doorbell just rang and I was so excited until I saw that it was the Fed-EX man. I'm not stalking him. It was a package for Tom's dad that he had sent here because they are off camping for one month.

Last year I really worried about what to wear to dinner too. When we went to dinner the first night I realized that it just didn't matter. Some people had on shorts and some dresses. I don't think Tom will be bringing a tie. I think for pirate night I will just wear jeans and a t-shirt that I still have to make. The girls wanted to dress like Elizabeth for pirate night and I finally found them a dress. I hope it gets here on time. They are also wearing it to MNNSHP so it really worked out.

Glad to hear you found dresses for the girls. My Tom isn't going to bring a suit jacket or tie this time. He did last year and felt over-dressed.

edited to add...did anyone find out anything firm yet on the tips being included?? I remember they said they were but still can't find anything in writing.

I'm jealous! We didn't get ours yet!

I'm all for teams getting their props (Yes, even the Yankees ), but the Tigers have earned a few shout-outs this year, in case no one has noticed...

Last cruise, who else stood in the pouring rain, hoping to get into the post office to mail off their post cards, only to find out that the post office had no change ?

I remember Stacy's Mom & Dad (and Nick?) were there.

I've always heard the mail is really slow but last year Walker sent one to his class that arrived before he went back to school.

We got in RIGHT before the rain and got very lucky - and the post office is VERY hit and miss on their "I'll be back at" time but really worth it in the end!
