I do feel the need to complain about the ESPN sports dude who was clearly a Tigers fan calling the game. Aren't they supposed to be neutral?

It's funny that you mention that. Earlier this season ESPN broadcast a Tigers regular season game. Karen and I were OUTRAGED at the partialiaty of the announcers TOWARDS THE YANKEES. They were mispronouncing the names of the players on a regular basis and during a Tiger at bat the director/producer dude in the trailer kept the camera on the "talent" while they discussed what the Yankees were doing. THE TIGERS WERE AT BAT while this was going on. Missed out on two batters before the talking heads shut up enough for them to point the cameras back onto the field!!! We were going NUTS!!.

The a couple of weeks ago when we were down at the world we were watching the game at the ESPN club down on the Boardwalk. Bottom of the 9th, two out and the controllers CHANGED THE FREAKING CHANNEL to a re-run of Arli$$. I went to the control room and asked them, in my O so polite Detroiter way if they could put it back, the controller CM apologized and said that ESPN requires them to switch to certain shows and he didn't know there were Detroit fans in the house. (That control room must be sound proof - We were shouting loud enough)

So we've always though ESPN leaned at little to the east, ya know?? I love irony.

Thanks to Amy about all the Hooters Wings talk. John was on his way home and called and asked what was for dinner, I told him the talk on the board today was Emily wanting Hooters for her birthday. It didn't take much convincing to have him stop and pick up wings for dinner tonight.
