Got my Dis Member Cruise documents today..

They sent 2 luggage tags-do you tag your "carry-on"?

Congratultions on getting your docs. You're the first!

No you do not have to tag your carry-on's. Only the ones that will be delievered to your stateroom.

One correction to what Curt said. You will get separate luggage tags for when you disembark.

You only have to tag the bags that you want them to ship to the port.Your carryon I assume you are going to keep with you. Let me know if that's not what you are asking.

(1) Ooooh people are gonna be GREEN with envy 'bout you. The first posted docs receiver.. CONGRATS!!

(2) No Don't tag you carry on's. The Tags are for when you get off the ship so they know where to put your bags in the terminal for your pickup.

Actually, the tags in your docs are for getting ON the ship. You tag your checked luggage. That tells the room stewards where to deliver your bags. Your carry ons do not need official Disney tags (although regular luggage tags aren't a bad idea in case they get misplaced)

Doreen we will be over in Niagara Falls in Jan for the girls gymnastics meet. We go there every year for a meet.

Mary I hope you feel better real soon.

Curt I think you were just caught cheating again. Is it true that you changed you post after Mary pointed it out to you.

I can't wait for my docs to come. It really makes it more real.

Our internet was not working again this morning. Last Friday I had the same problem. So, I called AT&T again. Have I mentioned that I really hate calling them. I don't know if they did anything but it is working again. Very strange. We are still having problems with the phone though. When will it end and everything just work?

Not feeling very good today so I'm staying home. Must have some type of stomach bug because I was up every hour on the hour last night. No sleep and just feeling blech! Hopefully it will pass soon.

Hope you feel better soon. Tummy problems can really put a damper on the magic.

Urggg, I'm so jealous!!! UPS doesn't come around here until late afternoon, so no chance of early docs for me!!!

I don't know about anybody else but I feel like I need a quick summary of all the DIS'er events taking place before/during/after the cruise.

Can anyone put one together and post it? Maybe put it up on the monorailgreen.info page too? It would be nice to have a one-stop place to go to see what will be going on!

So far I think I saw a pre-cruise DIS meet @ the Solarium @ BCV and some sort of bacherlorette get together on the ship but that is all and it is rather difficult trying to sift thru 19K+ posts to sort it all out from scratch.

Mary normaly post a navigator before everyone leaves with all the info together. It will be on her website.When it gets posted just print it out.It may be in, a few days from now.

You may have seen Mary refer to the DIS Navigator. This is exactly what you are describing and I'm almost positive she spent the weekend working on it, so it will be finished very shortly! I do believe that she posts it on the website, but she also has copies for everyone available at the DIS meet at BCV and also the one on the ship!

Randy - never fear - all will be included in the Navigator you will get with your buttons. However since I know we have lots of planners in this group here is the run down. Also once the navigator is finished I will save it as a word document for anyone who wants to print it out ahead of time.

Saturday 10/21 - 3pm DIS meet at the Solarium in the Beach Club. At this meet you can pick up your button packets, kids gifts, and those of us in the circle journal exchange will also do our swap. We have a few other surprises as well.

Sunday 10/22 - if you have signed up for the DIS party bus we are meeting outside the main enterance of Beach club at 8:30. Please be prompt so the bus can leave on time.

Sunday 10/22 - DCL terminal. Amy is brining the DIS meet sign so look for the DIS group over by the sofa's. A great time to gather and chat before boarding.

Sunday 10/22 - Deck 10 mid-ship (above the Goofy pool) at 3pm. We will be on the same side as the port (not to be confused by the port side). If it is raining go to deck 9 same location. At this meet you can pick up your button packets and kid gifts and maybe a few other surprises.

Monday 10/23 - the group has agreed to meet up at the far end of the family beach. So if you want to sit and play among other DISers head down there.

Monday 10/23 - if you signed up for the DIS banana boats today is the day. Ladies boat leaves at 1 pm, mens at 1:30 pm

Tuesday 10/24 - Julie's ladies meet at 9:30 pm up on deck 9 by the adult pool!

Tuesday 10/24 - Matt's guys meet at 9:30 pm in Diversions

Wednesday 10/25 - the group has agreed to meet up at the far end of the family beach. So if you want to sit and play among other DISers head down there.

Thursday 10/26 - for those taking the party bus back to Beach Club. Meet up in the Promonade Lounge after breakfast.

Thursday 10/26 - for those attending MNSSHP there will be a short DIS meet at 6:30 pm at the Liberty Bell. This is right before the party starts at 7 pm.

Friday 10/27 - for those who signed up ahead of time we will meet at the Contemporary dock at 8:00 pm for the Wishes fireworks cruise.

Saturday 10/28 - not a DIS meet but a very special DIS day as Matt & Julie exchange wedding vows.
