Hope you feel better, Mary.

Did you eat all that popcorn you bought yesterday?? popcorn::

Nope - no popcorn yet. Think I'll save it until I'm feeling better!

Sorry to hear that Mary. Hope your feeling better soon.
I had some problems sleeping last night too. Woke up around 2am with a terrible headache and a quessy stomach. I took some headache medicine and finaly got back to sleep but it was rough getting up this morning.

There is definately something going around. :(

Everyone wash your hands extra well and more often in the next couple of weeks. We certainly don't want anyone to miss out on the cruise.

:goodvibes Welcome Home, Gail and John :goodvibes
:banana:Happy Birthday Bruce:banana:

Mary, sure hope your feeling better today and can rest a bit.

I had no internet access this am and started to freak but I just reset my modem and router and back in business...whew!

Glad you had fun, despite the weather, Stacy.

Sunday is when things got really fun. Thats when the heavens opened up and the rain fell. At first it wasn't bad but then the deluge began and needless to say we all went home soaking wet. Now we just need to get every thing out to try to get it dried out. That could take a bit. It was raining so bad it just became comical but everyone had a good time.

We went through that last week. Gary had a leaders tent strung up on the roof of the garage for days drying out. It looked like we had roof damage with it up there -- even one of my neighbors asked why we had a tarp on our roof.

It finally did dry out -- but with the mornings chilly and dew around, it was a catch 22 deal.

We had tons of food for dinner that the boys cooked . Hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage and peppers. To much to eat really but it was real good.

Sounds like a great time!

Do your Scouts have these? www.minutepiemold.com My dad actually makes them and he sells them to lots of Scout troups.

I don't know about Boy Scouts, but I know Gary has one of those in his camping gear. Now he says the ones we have aren't that good and he could use a couple of those.

The model on the action shots looks familiar ;)

Something is going around, because I woke up this morning all stuffed up. But, as long as it's now and not in 3 weeks, I'm ok with it.

Of course, it'll sound like cheesy advertising, but these ARE better than the ones you get at Wal*mart of Gander Mountain. Heavier duty and sturdier. But ppl buy those instead of my dad's because they are cheaper (well, DUH)

Of course, I'm not saying my dad's won't break. He gets calls now and then from people who left them in a hot fire for 20 minutes and the hinge melts off. Uh...duh. They are MINUTE pie molds. :lmao: We've had ours for 15 yrs. My parents have used some longer than that. We actually have a fire ring in the back yard so we can cook these for dinner sometimes. :)

Inside scoop, if you DO think you want any, I happen to know the casting prices went up and the pie mold prices will be going up soon---as soon as Mike gets around to changing the website. Just an FYI.

Well, Madison and I are going to be doing a lot of running around for Emily's party this morning. I need to finish finding all the stuff for the goodie bags and decorations. I think that I finally have all the food figured out (mini cheesecakes, mini muffins, fresh fruit, tea cookies and "star" cheese (Sargento makes Sunburst shaped cheese that my girls call star cheese). I'm also planning on taking pretzel rods and coating them with pink "chocolate" and sprinkles.

I'm going to JoAnn's and pick up a bunch of pink tulle to drape around the living room too, since it's pretty cheap.

Have fun, Amy!! I'm guessing the theme is a princess tea party or something similar? I missed what it was going to be, if you posted it.

Cameron's is much easier --- his friends are meeting here and we're off for an afternoon of lunch and games at Dave & Busters. Of course, I'll feel like this when we're done :headache:

Yep, you're right, Princess Tea Party. I'll be happy when it's all over. I love to plan parties, but I stress about getting it all done.

And you won't have much of this either:

That sounds really really cute. Love how everything is "mini"....perfect for little hands!!

Member Gallery Update!

Got a number of updates over the weekend. We have 4 new families joining us:

Marc (M4travel) and his partner Michael (M4travels)

Doreen (Niagara2) and her family

Randy (tigger795) and his wife Annette (figment795)

Barbara (Dallas92) and her family

Welcome aboard everyone!

Good Morning - you are sure an active group - went to bed and 4 more pages posted....I will never catch up on all these posts. ;)
Sorry you are not feeling well Mary.
My kids were camping last week in the rain. Yesterday was nice so I once again put the tent and sleeping bags out in the driveway to hopefully dry. They camp again the weekend before we leave for the cruise. We are in charge of all the food for the troop. It is chilly here and saw my breath this am when I took the dog out. Looking forward to that warm tropical air.
Thanks for all the welcomes. Much appreciated. Doreen

Doreen, do you have Cub Scouts and/or Boy Scouts??

Stacy's son, Nick, is a Boy Scout.

My son, Cameron, is a Boy Scout and my other son, Walker, is a Cub Scout.

They love their camping.

We get home from this cruise Friday, 10/27 with our plane arriving at midnight. We leave for a campout at 7 a.m. Saturday morning. :faint:

Both the boys are Boy Scouts. One is 11 and one is 12 years old. Glad they will have much in common with the kids that will be on board. I will tell then tonight!

WOW!! 11 & 12. They will fit right in with Cameron & Nick.

Something tells me that they will be spending some time together in the lab. :thumbsup2

How much do you tip at Palo? The last time I tipped $20 for the two of us. This time there will be four in our party. :confused3
