Yes, lots of B&B's. Wildwood is not quite as slow and quite as CM. We go to the beach in Stone Harbor. Big multi-million dollar houses there. Let me know if anyone wants to visit. We know all kinds of things to do.

Chris

Wait a second here--are you inviting all your closest DIS friends to stay in your multi-million dollar house down the shore? ;)

See that's how rumors get started! I can't just pick on poor Curt!

I guess you have garnered a reputation here. :confused3

Seriously, Curt is a great guy when you meet him in person and is quieter than here on the boards. I'm happy to be sitting with him and the others at dinner. :thumbsup2

What he's quiet?? Oh no I have a feeling I may be the LOUD MOUTH at our table ;) :rotfl2: cause well I'm sort of shy but not after a glass o wine.

Congratulations MARK on your win!

Congratulations to Roxann, Curt, Karen and everyone I have now missed on your new tags!

Ladies - I'm looking forward to our drink whether it be pop or wine (or Martini's for Diana)

Jeff - thanks for asking if Matt would like to hang out, he's shy but I am positive he'd enjoy a drink (again pop or a crown and coke etc).

What else did I miss in my efforts to get through 10 pages??

Where's Amy? Oh wait - WALT DISNEY WORLD!!

So today is one month from the wedding (in date - you know 10/28 vs 9/28) and I posted this on another board but I thought you guys would appreciate it as well as so many of you have helped contribute in many ways to our celebration!

I am just in awe that we get married in 4 weeks and that we leave in 3. This "ride" as I want to call it has been amazing and now that we are in the home stretch I am just in awe...

I'm in awe of how much I love Matt, of how I wondered just 6 years ago this week if I would ever find another person to love again and while it took a "broken road" I did and it's amazing.

I am in awe of how blessed we both are to have parents that are still married and have allowed us to follow our dreams. Both of us moved away from our families yet we are both closely tied to them and its such a wonderful relationship all around.

I am in awe that through the Disneymooners I have made some wonderful, life long friends some of whom will be joining us for the wedding in person, some of whom will be with us in spirit and many of you who will be waiting for those photos and sneek peaks. Many of these friends we know will be in our lives for a long time and both Matt and I look forward to our future trips together - whether they be to Disney or to an island or a villa somewhere!

I am in awe that we were able to negotiate Matt's finals, our families and work schedules to alllow us to sail on the 2006 DVC Member Cruise the Sunday - Thursday before the wedding that will allow us to relax from the pre wedding stress (yes, even though we are organized we are both stressed) and get connected again right before the big festivities. We have made some amazing friends that we are sailing with and we both cannot wait to see them again, hang out, sit on the beach at Castaway Cay (2 times in 4 days) and drink umbrella drinks, go banana boating, take the Eco tour, watch Ducky Williams draw, hear Jodi Benson sing in person and just enjoy the WONDER of it all.

This process seems so long for so many of us, but I have enjoyed it each step of the way and the next 4 weeks are going to be a big party!

We leave Saturday morning to head to North Carolina to see Matt's family for the weekend so I can meet everyone who can't come and celebrate his birthday with all of them.

Next weekend I head to Chicago for a final dress fitting, to hang out with my sister and spend some time with some very very good friends from college who are mostly all coming to the wedding - so awesome.

We have cruise news!!

In this month's dispatch, we'll report on a new Disney Vacation Club game show debuting during our trip, tell you how to add some stylish Member Cruise apparel to your closet, give you more details on some cruise events, and introduce a Guest Speaker appearing onboard.

Exclusive items in store
It's no secret that many Members wear their Disney Vacation Club spirit on their sleeves—and during our journey, it will be even easier to show your "true colors". That's because a selection of S.S. Member Cruise 2006 apparel will be available on the Disney Wonder®, along with other limited–edition merchandise. Plan on picking up some keepsakes for yourself, or bring home a few souvenirs for your family and friends. A boatload of exclusive apparel and gifts awaits you onboard!

Your Disney Vacation Club Family

Thanks for the congrats everyone :) I think the clue plus the fact that musical number kind of like jumps out of the movie, it was just the answer I came up with.

Wasn't Cindy just whining yesterday about not having any new updates? Seems like everytime she whines...... :lmao: :lmao:

Cruise news arrived in my mailbox today too! :cheer2:

Jeff - I lived in Hackensack and spent my younger years in Maywood - so we are kinda like neighbors.

Do we have any details on the Bachelorette party - time and place?

No but I think we should try to pick one before we leave to avoid leaving anyone out. There shouldn't be a lot of scheduling conficts because there will be less going on at night after the show and we can always meet have a drink and go to whatever fun thing is planned that night without missing too much. Do we officially know which night pirate night is? It say any other night would be ok.

Caught up once again,

Welcome to another day closer to the Sail Away Party!!

I also want to say something about the tags. Karen was very subtly tagged and I missed it. I just want to ackowledge my beloved, and the person who got me started on the Dis. She may be quiet here in cyberspace now - but not in real life. I'm guessing that without her my life would come to a crashing halt. She keeps me organized and on time. She is the voice of reason and levelheadedness (is that a word? - who cares I'm being schmucky) in the family. So I just wanted to stop and share a moment to give a type out to my partner. :lovestruc

Ok off to the Tiger game... SEE YA!

Ummmm Curt did you do something wrong???????

Just kidding. We have met Curt and Karen a few times and they really are a great couple. Hope the Tigers win today. I can understand about not liking the Lions but how can you not like Michigan? All I have to say is GO BLUE

I looked it up on her profile and it's very fitting.

Congratulations, Karen. Not sure when it happened, but it doesn't matter in the end. :cool1:

Hi all,

Well, now that it's getting closer and since Diana Lyn told me to come back here and check it out, I'm back! :wave2:

I've checked out the DIS DVC website, which is great. I had my info/photo added.

Thanks to Diana Lyn I checked out when the two meets are and I'm going to try and attend at least one, and maybe both. DH is very anti-social.

I have a couple of questions. I haven't done a 4 day cruise in years and I've never done a DVC cruise before.

I was wondering if we have to pack a suit for my DH and a dress for me? Is there a formal night? I also read that there might be a Pirate themed night and party. Is there? What's it like?

Is there a way to know the rotation of the restaurants (and Pirate night) and of the shows?

Is there anything special that will be going on or be different because it's a DVC cruise?

Hey, is our cruise one of the first ones after dry dock? Interesting!

I'm getting so excited now that its so close! :cool1:

:welcome: Glad to see you found your way here. :thumbsup2

No formal night on this cruise. So unless you want the dress & suit, no need to pack it.

We won't know the rotations until we're onboard. Pirate night, last I heard, was slated for Monday night.

There should be a lot of special surprises as well as guest speakers.

Not to sound like a broken record, but if we can come up with a time and place by this weekend i can add it in the newsletter :)
